This month’s box is all about “Summer Ready.” It feels like summer is in full swing here in Georgia already, it’s hard to believe it doesn’t start until Tuesday!
The information sheet from Herb Stop is really impressive. There’s a lot of knowledge packed in here! Every oil they sent is matched with three different usage tips. That’s really helpful! Plus on the reverse side there is a recipe for a cellulite busting salt scrub that uses all three of the pure oils! Fingers crossed it works!
Here are the vials I received for this month! They are (from left to right):
Cypress – We have a giant Leland Cypress in our front yard, and I love the bright, woodsy smell. I’m so pleased to now have it in a vial, too! What I did not know is that it can be used topically to help reduce varicose veins. Amazing!
White Grapefruit – Citrus is always such an energizing scent to me, especially graprefruit. Apparently it also helps reduce sugar cravings, which makes it a super win for me!
Sweet Fennel – I like the licorice scent of fennel, but only if it’s quite light, so I will have to use this really sparingly or diluted. It’s supposedly very good for digestion as well as an energy boost.
Fat Attack Roll-On – This is a blend of grapefruit, cypress, cedarwood, lime, orange, basil, lemon, fennel, patchouli, and jojoba. The patchouli seems to be the outstanding fragrance, as it usually is in blends. There are several ways to apply this, and it claims to be helpful with all kinds of weight problems, from appetite to cellulite to water retention! I’ve only used all of these oils once or twice now, but I’m really hopeful that they will make a difference!
Verdict: This was my favorite package from Herb Stop Essential Oils so far! It’s probably since all the issues that these oils help with are ones I happen to have! I also really like all the fragrances they sent. Essential oils are pretty expensive, but the amount of oils in these vials is small. A little will go a long way, though, so I personally prefer having small amounts rather than bigger bottles I never use completely. The biggest part of the value to me, however, is all of the know-how that is packed into the info sheet! It speaks to not only what to use the oils for, but many different ways to apply them. I think if you are interested in learning A LOT about how to use essential oils to improve your health and your life, then this box is definitely for you!
