Canvas Bag by The Pumpkin Batch - $5.00

This is a really cute little canvas bag that says: "Live life with a little pumpkin spice."  This is an exclusive bag made by The Pumpkin Batch for this month's box.  It is 100% cotton, and is rated to carry up to 30 lbs.  I will be using this on Monday when I go to a BBQ to carry some snacks for sure.

Oh, My Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal - Straw Propeller - $4.00

I really enjoyed this for breakfast!  It has raisins, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin pie spice.  They are also gluten free, so this is one treat that most people can indulge in!  When I used to go in to the office, I would buy these little oatmeal containers and keep them at my desk for a quick breakfast when I needed to eat at the office.  This brand would have been perfect had I known about it!  I will note though, this is 340 calories with 9 grams of fat.  For me, these would need to be an occasional indulgence.

Pumpkin Spice Body Butter - Tiny House Big Farm - $8.00

This body butter smells so incredible.  It is perfectly whipped and emollient as well.  I love the scent of this - it just reminds me of fall!

Handmade Pumpkin Seed Salsa - American Spoon - $10.95

Oh man, this stuff is good.  I don't know why it is so good, but it is definitely one of the best jarred salsas I've tried.  It is slightly nutty, with a teeny bit of heat.  I love it.

Oh, My Sweet Pumpkin Cranberry Tortilla Chips - Way Better Snacks - $3.33

These chips are only sold October to January, so I am guessing this is a bit of leftover stock!  I did check the expiration, and they're still good, so no worries there!  I really liked these, but the chips came a bit broken up.  I really loved these though.  They're not super sweet, and the flavor is just great!

Verdict:  The value of this Pumpkin Batch is a little under $32.00.  I really enjoyed everything in the box, and I appreciate that most of the snack/food items could be enjoyed by anyone, even those with food allergies and intolerances.  I always look forward to seeing how The Pumpkin Batch brings a wisp of fall to my month!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

This box was my first for this subscription and I absolutely LOVED it.

The salsa is fantastic and I’m going to looking to buy more of it. I can’t handle a lot of heat (gringo stomach!!) and this was perfect. My chips were busted up pretty badly as well. They were good but I probably wouldn’t buy them again. They were very dense. On the bright side, they don’t break when you dip them in the salsa!

The body butter is amazing and I plan on use it sparingly so I can enjoy it for as long as possible. Cute bag too. Perfect for grocery shopping or the Farmer’s Market. Still haven’t eaten the oatmeal but I’m looking forward to it.

All in all, I was very thrilled with my first box and I can’t wait for the next one!

I keep wanting to subscribe since I love pumpkin (spice, seeds, whatever!) and will revisit again in the fall when it seems like a great idea. Nice balance of items and curation though.

It’s a shame the chips were broken. 🙁

I almost always get broken chips in subscription boxes. Invariably they are in there with a can of energy drink or a jar of salsa or something else heavy.
