Cypress and 5th is a brand new women’s clothing subscription service. Each month their stylists put together a “dressing room” for you in your account based on your style, and you get to select 2-3 pieces (one top, bottom, and accessory or one dress and accessory).
Good to know: it’s easy to opt-out any month you’d like.

Skies Are Blue Layered Tank – value: $38?
Esley Pleated Striped Skirt – value: $50?
I’m estimating my prices here based off what found similar items to sell for, FYI. I love these pieces. I especially love the tank. The tank looks like it’d be reversible and able to be worn inside-out to have all stripes, but the seams and tag don’t allow that. Maybe under a cardigan or jacket, though! Mixing prints isn’t generally my comfort zone, so I’m really happy to have this tank to do it for me! I also like how thick and comfortable the knit material is. (I’m also glad to get a brand I recognize.)
The skirt is really nice. It’s a thick polyester and feels very well made. It fits well at my natural waist and hits my knees. I like it a lot, and I don’t have anything similar already!
Glitzy Tassle Necklace – value: $25?
Here’s the necklace they sent! I don’t have a brand since the only tag on it was from Cypress & 5th. I think this is super colorful and funky and I kind of love it, even though it’s way out of my comfort zone! I don’t own anything like this and I’m not sure I know how to wear this but I like it so much I kind of want to try this summer.
Here’s the outfit all together. (Shoes from ShoeDazzle.) Sorry for the kind of weird lighting here – I’m figuring things out in my new house! They recommended to tuck the top into the skirt, or pair it with leggings. Like I said, mixing prints isn’t usually my thing but I really dig this look! It makes me feel fashion-forward.
However, I did try some alternative pairings for you…
Here’s the tank with just some jeans. Very comfortable – I’d feel great running errands in this! I’m loving some sleeveless-but-not-spaghetti-strap tops for this season (if it ever gets warm enough here in MI… I’m sadly watching the snow cover my deck as I write this).
And here’s the skirt, paired with Elizabeth & Clarke’s The Isabella top.
The Verdict: I love the items Cypress & 5th sent me! They make me feel chic and stylish, and I love that they still feel like very wearable pieces to me. As far as value goes, I can’t find the exact pieces for sale so my estimate adds up to just over $100, which I’m happy with. You can also think about it as $24.93 per item (from the $74.95 cost of the box), which I am still pretty happy with, too.
