Dave's Sweet Tooth Milk Chocolate Toffee - $8.00

This tastes like Almond Roca to me, without the tooth aching sweetness, and without the tooth ache from trying to bite into it.  It's delicious - buttery and sweet, with just the right amount of chocolate and nuts to kick the texture and flavor up a notch!  Plus, how adorable is the packaging?  The bag is also resealable, which is great for those of us that like to snack on candy every now and again but not inhale an entire bag in one sitting (No judgement here though if that's your MO - I've been known to do the same more than once!)

Zingerman's Candy Chocolate Covered Peanut Brittle - $4.00

Chocolate makes everything better - even peanut brittle.  I know that there are some people would absolutely couldn't live in a world with peanut brittle - but I am not that person.  I will eat the rest of this bag, because...sugar.  I will say that this is definitely some of the best peanut brittle I've eaten - the flavor is great, and the chocolate really adds something to it!

Mayana Chocolate - Kitchen Sink Bar - $8.00

This is, hands down, my favorite candy bar I have ever eaten.  The texture of this is out of this world.  Chewy, creamy, and crispy all while being sweet and salty at the same time. This is everything, and I mean everything, I would want in a candy bar.  It has peanut butter, a thick layer of caramel, dark chocolate to tone down the sweetness, pretzels, fleur de sel, and crisped rice.  It is a really bad thing I've been introduced to this, because I never want to be without it.

Now, the price is a bit much for a candy bar, but I have gotten four servings out of it so far, and I still have some left.  This candy bar is massive and yes, I would absolutely spend $8.00 on another one.

Annie B's Caramels - Original - $0.62

I love soft caramels - and these are some of the best I've ever had.  The original flavor is everything that caramel should be!  Buttery, creamy, and sweet.  I would definitely do some damage with that 1/2 pound bag!

Annie B's Caramels - Black Raspberry - $0.62

This caramel is exactly like the original, except fruity!  I don't have a super refined palate, so I probably couldn't tell you what fruit it was if I didn't know that it is black raspberry.  It is definitely berry flavored though, and now all I can think about is how amazing these would be swirled on top of my raspberry waffle cone brownies!

Verdict:  The value of my January Treatsie subscription came up to $21.25 - which is right at what this box cost.  I am consistently pleased with my Treatsie shipments, but I have to say this one is my favorite ever.  That Kitchen Sink candy bar wins the year for me, and it's only January.  I don't ever want to know the nutritional non-value of it, because I want my diet to consist of only those for the rest of ever.

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

That toffee is only $5 on Dave’s website, not $8. That’s a ridiculous price inflation from Treatsie! The peanut brittle isn’t sold on Zingerman’s site in 2oz containers, but it should be $3 if priced by ounce, not $4. Annie’s caramels are $.50 each on her website, not $.62. With the Kitchen Sink bar at $7, the real total value of this month’s box is $16.00, not $21.25. If I didn’t have a discounted subscription, this would be a blatant rip-off. I’m really getting angrier the more boxes I calculate the real value on.

This was only my second Treatsie box. The first one was OK, but they set the bar ridiculously high with this one. Oh that candy bar. And their website has like six different varieties.
