SwiggyDiggyDoo Subscription Box Review - December 2014 Blanket

Royal Baby Gray Organic Muslin Swaddling Blanket from Bambino Land – value: $14.99

This blanket feels really nice, and seems like it would be useful for a variety of things, including swaddling and other needs. To me, extra blankets are never a bad thing!

Baby/Toddler Infinity Scarf from Deeks and Me – value: $12

SwiggyDiggyDoo Exclusive T-shirt – value: $10?

I’ve never seen an infinity scarf for little children. I think it’s absolutely adorable – it’s something that would make any little outfit extra cute but I would probably have a hard time justifying buying it myself, so I’m really glad it came in a box!

SwiggyDiggyDoo Subscription Box Review - December 2014 Match Stacks

Match Stacks On the Farm Memory Game – value: $20

Re-Play 2 Pack Snack Stack – value: $5.99

This Match Stacks game is made from sustainable hardwoods and is made in America. You can use them as a memory game, to build vocabulary, or just as a toy to keep kids busy! This will be perfect for my nephew!

The Snack Stack is BPA-free, dishwasher safe, and made in America from recycled milk jugs. I think it’s perfect for snacks or even to hold toys while on the go.

Verdict: I’m impressed by SwiggyDiggyDoo! I love that they feature organic, eco-friendly, and modern items. They offer variations of their boxes for boys and for girls. This box is for a boy, but I really don’t know what would have been different in this box if it were for a girl. As far as value goes, everything adds up to about $63! I’m really happy with that value.

What do you think about this subscription?

There’s a reason no one has seen an infinity scarf for little ones–they’re not safe! I’m surprised they’re even sold in this day and age of kid safety consciousness. I’ve never been a “helicopter mom” but this is too big of a risk for me. The age range is also way to broad. A 6 month old and a 3 year old can’t share clothing unless you have a huge baby or a tiny toddler. But if you have only 1 child, and they happen to be 3, that leaves the game and the snack stack as the only useful and safe products in the box. Not worth $40 IMO.

My thoughts exactly. Scarf is cute but dangerous so NO. (I can’t believe this even exists!?)

Rest of the box is fine.

When I look at everything individually it is all cute. It’s the kind of stuff I liked when my children were younger.

Coming from the perspective of a mom to 2 active boys, I would be scared to have a baby/toddler wear an infinity scarf. Also is the box designed for ages 0-3? That is nice for moms with a couple of kids in that range, but what happens if you have a 6 month old or a 2.5 year old? The 6 month old can’t play memory and the 2.5 year doesn’t need to be swaddled. Also the t-shirt is short sleeves. My 6 year old has to be coaxed to wear short sleeves at his basketball games because he is cold. I think there are a lot of moms that would not be able to use a short sleeve shirt yet. I think 0-3 is a wide age span that covers a great amount of growth and development.

I wouldn’t have commented so much, but the scarf caught me by surprise and then I took a closer look at the box. All that commentary when I am not the intended audience LOL.

I love the idea of this sub, but I must say I was shocked to see an infinity scarf marketed to infants and toddlers. That’s an absolute choking/safety hazard.
