The Boodle Box (Box Two) Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Info

This is a review of the Boodle Two Box (ages 11+). This month, it’s Halloween themed!

Every box comes with an informational card detailing the featured items.

The Boodle Box (Box Two) Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Watch

Rhinestone Ghost Necklace – value: $7.50

White Bling Chevron Watch – value: $12

I think this little ghost necklace is cute, and definitely an age-appropriate piece of Halloween jewelry. I also like the watch a lot – it’s versatile and great for this age group, but my watch doesn’t run. The fix is a simple battery replacement, I’m sure, but it would have been nice if it came running.

The Boodle Box (Box Two) Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Sunny

Funny Side Up Silicone Egg Mold by Fred – value: $9.95

This skull egg/pancake mold is definitely something I thought was such a good idea to include in this box. It’s a great idea to add a little fun for family breakfasts in October.

The Boodle Box (Box Two) Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Chevron

Black and White Chevron Infinity Scarf – value: $14.99

Silver Snake Ear Cuff – value: $14.99

I know a there’s definitely a demographic of people out there who have voiced their wishes for clip-on earrings in subscription boxes, so I thought this ear cuff was a smart inclusion – everyone can wear it, pierced ears or not!

The Boodle Box (Box Two) Subscription Box Review - October 2014 RIP

Fantasy Maker R.I.P. Glow in the Dark Nail Polish – value: $1.99

Hard Candy Foiled Again Shadow Sticks in Celestine, Glimpse, and Glimmer – value: $9.99

I was happy to see a whole trio of these shadow sticks in this box! These alone would have made the whole box for me as a young girl, plus they’re perfect colors to play with for Halloween. (The card lists the retail value of these as 3 for $18, but you can buy them from Boodle Box’s shop for $9.99, so I used that value instead.)

Verdict: I really liked this Boodle Box! I think everything in it is cute, practical, and stylish. Their curation always feels spot-on to me, and I like that everything is festive without being impractical for any other time of year. The value adds up to $71.41 based from their info card and shop, which is an awesome value!

I love this box! The fact that I have a 10-year-old girl gives me a good excuse to subscribe, but I really do like several of the items for myself. I wore the black and white chevron watch and ghost necklace to work in October and got several compliments (and I’m 40-something.) I have set a few items from the past couple boxes aside for my daughter’s Christmas stocking. The curation and presentation are wonderful and the items are fun and trendy. I hope The Boodle Box continues to wow us for a long time to come!

I got this box for myself. Very well curated! The color of my nail polish was different. If anyone is wanting the eye shadows, I have them up for swap individually. Great colors, yet I just dont use eye shadow.

I bought a 3 month subscription for my granddaughter in August for her thirteenth birthday. She loves them! I decided to extend her subscription for her Christmas gift. But before I renewed, they went ahead and sent a fourth box. I’m not really upset, but I would have been if I hadn’t already decided to resubscribe. They told me that they didn’t automatically renew. If you subscribe, the six month is a better deal, prepare to see a very young lady, but be sure that they don’t auto renew. By the way, one of my favorite things is that you don’t have to pay up front for a multiple month subscription.

Sorry about your confusion with the subscriptions. If you check the website we have all of the details for purchases on there. All subscriptions auto-renew EXCEPT the one month or gift plans. If you don’t want it to auto-renew, you just cancel before your last month and there is never a fee as long as you complete your initial sign-up period. After that, you can go month-to-month for as long as you’d like! (Just let us know before the 1st of the month in which you’d like to cancel.) We also stock extra inventory boxes in our shop for immediate delivery gifts…perfect for a birthday! 🙂

You weren’t replying to me, but it really gets my hackles up when a company comes on and says “sorry YOU couldn’t understand our terms.”

Anyway, I’m thinking about getting something like this for my preteen niece who loves nail polish, and I really appreciate this detailed review–thanks, Haley!
