You are guaranteed a pair of socks and an enamel pin. The 3rd item is a surprise, and each box is different! They may include past items from Quirky Crate or new items that they know you’ll love. But don’t worry, they’ll make sure you never get the same item twice.

Quirky Post February 2018 Review

Penguin Socks - Estimated Value $4.00

I adored the animated movie, and now I can have Happy Feet of my own thanks to these penguin-patterned socks! This bright, red-and-pink pair is thicker than previous socks I’ve received in the past but still are not intended to be worn for warmth. That’s a-okay with me—they’re just too darn cuuuuute!

(We couldn't locate these exact socks being sold online anywhere except in bulk, so the retail value is an estimate relative to past month's socks.)

Totally Jawesome Iron-On Patch — Retail Value $5.00

♫ Let’s give ‘em some fin to talk about. ♪ Like this punny shark patch, for instance! I’m a sucker for wordplay, so this endearingly cheesy accessory made me smile. It’s 2.5" x 2.25" and boasts an embroidered edge, along with a cute peach hue that could look awesome on a jean jacket. Ironing directions are included on the back of the packaging to make for easy-breezy application!

Flamingo Enamel Pin - Retail Value $9.00

I love this. The enamel pin is consistently my most cherished item in each month’s Quirky Post shipment, and this flamingo is my all-time favorite pin so far! Its adorable pink hue is surrounded by a sleek gold lining, and its rubber backing is well-made. I’m so excited to add this quirky bird to my collection!

Verdict: I loved this month's Quirky Post even more than January's, and that's saying something. The socks were higher quality and the pin—my favorite piece—is sure to be a go-to statement piece in my outfit rotation. I don't think I'll actually wear the patch, as its humor is a little too ~on-the-nose~ for me, but I do hope more patches are included in the coming months' boxes!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but order today to get next month’s box that ships March 15th!

Value Breakdown: The total value of this box was $18.00. At $15.90 for this box, you’re paying about $3.53 for the socks, $4.41 for the patch, and $7.95 for the pin, which makes this month's Quirky Post just a bit less than tit-for-tat value.

This box looks perfect. So much cute stuff. But when I click on the link it says it’s $34 and includes handbags and accessories, what am I doing wrong? I think I’ll still subscribe but I would like to save some money if possible. Thanks very much.

Hi, Katherine!

I am so sorry for this delayed reply! You may be clicking on the MSA link that directs you to Quirky Crate. Here is the link to Quirky Post (which is made by the same people who curate Quirky Crate)!

Yes indeed! Thanks for clarifying, Lindsey! I was unfortunately only able to link to to Quirky Crate within the MSA site, but here’s the link to Quirky Post —- the smaller counterpart to Quirky Crate!

Lindsey

That’s for the full sized Quirky Crate. They have two different sized subscriptions, and this review is for the smaller Quirky Post.
