Boxwalla has beautiful packaging. Their boxes are sturdy and beautiful, and they’re crafted from tree-free paper by a small company in Rajasthan, India.

Boxwalla Food February 2018 Review
In addition to their beautiful cloth boxes, Boxwalla always has a really nice info card that gives a short description of each item and their retail value. The theme for February, "For the Love of Chocolate", is quite fitting even though I have to say that since their last delivery in December was "All About Chocolate" I am a bit surprised to see them repeat such a decadent food group. I refuse to stay mad at them though, because these chocolate bars are out-of-control good.
Let's dive in, shall we?
Moderne Chocolate and Toffee Bar - Lime, 3.5 oz. - Retail Value $9.00
Wow, just wow. I never thought that toffee and chocolate with lime could be so delicious, but here we are. Toffee freaking rules and since Heath is an old favorite, I am immediately am on board with this upscale version. Putting a bit of lime in here makes it so incredibly fresh and lively, I am blown away. This also happens to have won the Sofi Gold Award for Outstanding Chocolate.
Arete Fine Chocolate Guatemala Lachua 58% Dark Milk Chocolate, 2.3 oz. - Retail Value $12.00
I don't want to say that it's hard for a plain chocolate bar to grab my attention in this group of exciting flavors, but it COULD be. Only, this 58% Guatemalan chocolate stands on its own two feet to deliver an amazing flavor without the help of fruit, nuts, or other special ingredients. Even though this is reasonable dark, it still comes off as being sweet and full of flavor. I do not get bitterness from this one at all. What a lovely surprise! So creamy too!
Arete Fine Chocolate Gianduia Bar, 2.3 oz. - Retail Value $15.00
Yet another award-winning chocolate here, this Gianduia bar won the Good Food Award in 2017. Made with hazelnuts from Piedmont Italy and Brazil Fazenda Camboa cocoa beans, Arete delivers another incredibly silky chocolate bar. Hazelnuts are an wonderful and classic pairing with chocolate no matter what and the crushed chunks here are a perfect ratio to the insanely scumptious chocolate that literally melts in your mouth.
Alma Chocolate Matcha Mint Bar, 1.5 oz. - Retail Value $6.00
Good lord! Take me now, and let me lie on a blanket of matcha mint, please. Mint is one of my favorite herbs to put in anything: alcohol, chocolate, lemonade, and now matcha tea powdered white chocolate. This gorgeous green bar is also covered in chocolate shavings and has Seely peppermint oil in it to give the mint kick I crave. Thank you, Alma Chocolate.
Alma Chocolate Sea Salt Hazelnut Crunch Bar, 2 oz. - Retail Value $6.00
Hmmm there is something very unique about this one. It's not a solid chocolate bar but has a Dominican chocolate shell with Woodblock chocolate filling that has praline, hazelnut, and Jacobsen sea salt. I don't dislike it, but there is something a bit too bitter happening for me to love it as much as the others. This won the Good Food Award in 2014, so what do I know?
Alma Chocolate Genmaicha Crunch Bar, 1.5 oz. - Retail Value $6.00
GAHHHHH this is probably my favorite of the box and just...heavenly. It gets its crunch from toasted Japanese rice which is enough to make my heart go pitter patter when covered in milk chocolate, but then there is a bit of malt in there as well! Think of coating Kashi cereal in delicious creamy chocolate and you're still lightyears away from this delightful treat.
Verdict: Even though Boxwalla had an encore theme this month, they curated a box full of award-winning and extremely special chocolate bars. For just under $50.00, I received six super fancy treats that have a retail value of $54.00 without having to pay shipping from three different chocolatiers from around the country. I was happy to eat my way through this luxurious box and share (a little) with my friends.
