November 2017 ZBox Review

Each month, ZBox will have a theme around their box. This month’s theme was Classics and items from Jurassic Park, The Karate Kid, Batman, and Pokemon!

It always comes with an information booklet.

Inside you’ll find stories and interviews around the theme along with information on all of the items in your box.

TNT Pin – Value $5

This month’s “classic” pin features a TNT box from Crash Bandicoot! With Crash being my favorite PS1 game, this month’s pin fired up some nostalgia.

Cobra Dojo Shirt – Value $15?

This might be their best shirt yet! As almost every kid who grew up in the 80’s knew, you have to SWEEP THE LEG! Show off your Karate Kid love with his greatest enemy on your shirt!

DC Comics Multiverse 30th Anniversary Figure – Value $16.50 on Amazon

The biggest item of the box is a DC Comics figure from The Dark Knight Returns 30th anniversary line!

If you’re familiar with DC figure lines, this will be familiar to you. Armored Batman stands 6 inches tall with that classic look from Frank Miller.

The details are great on the figure, as well!

You’ll receive one figure in this line, I believe – so not everyone would get armored Batman.

Each figure comes with pieces to complete a Doomsday figure – collect all the figure and complete Doomsday.

Jurassic Park 25 Anniversary Limited Edition Coin – Value $10-15?

Everyone got a 25th Anniversary Jurassic Park coin – again, this is certainly right in my wheelhouse, and I guess I’m also old now that Jurassic Park is a classic and I can remember going to the opening weekend!

Each coin is numbered and limited to 1,000 in total. I’m not sure of the value of the gold coin – but I’ve seen the silver edition for sale around my guesstimate.

Fighting American – Value $3.99 + Exclusive Cover

Everyone gets a copy of Fighting American from Titan Comics with an exclusive ZBox cover.

This is bringing back an older series – not just in terms of bringing the story back, but the story brings the 50’s characters in the modern world to fight modern enemies – it’s an interesting concept.

Exclusive Pokemon Poster – Metallic Variant – Value $10-15?

The final item is this exclusive ‘battle’ poster featuring Charizard and Blastoise that has a nice metallic sheen to it.

Verdict: I’ve been impressed with ZBox lately. While the exclusive portions of the box may not be the hero items, they’re still packing good value into each box – and this month’s hero item, the figure, was an easy favorite and when right onto the shelf!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You’ll get a peek at the currently available theme on the landing page.

  1. I have been tempted by this box, but have concerns over shipping. I preordered the Christmas Gifting Box on 15 November 2017 and still haven’t received it. Their responses are generic and slow! How is the customer service on the monthly box? There are terrible reviews of this company online!

  2. I got stuck with a Mutant Leader action figure, the lamest of all the options. 😕

  3. Loved this box! The shirt and coin are awesome.
