ShoeDazzle Subscription Review + First Look for $10 Offer – January 2018
ShoeDazzle is a monthly shoe, clothing, and accessories subscription service. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – many styles are only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs. When you sign up for a membership, you complete a style profile. On the 1st of every month, they release new styles, and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal “Showroom” or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.
This model is similar to how JustFab, Fabletics, and AdoreMe work. JustFab and Shoedazzle are under the same umbrella company, actually. Surprisingly enough, the shoes I ordered on Shoedazzle came in a JustFab box!

Shoedazzle December 2017 Sock Booties Review
ShoeDazzle and JustFab are really similar business models run by the same umbrella company, so I’m not shocked that some JustFab shoes would be available via the ShoeDazzle site. This is the second time this has happened to me—my (absolutely incredible) blue velvet star booties arrived in a JustFab box, too, despite my not being a JustFab subscriber and ordering my shoes via ShoeDazzle. That doesn’t have any impact on the experience, but I just figured I’d share in case you were confused by the JustFab box!
I will say that the two pairs of shoes that came in JustFab boxes have been my favorite buys from ShoeDazzle thus far. I nabbed this pair of booties (which they offer in four other colors, as well) because 1) I love booties, 2) it’s still too cold and snowy for me to justify any more fancy heels or peep toes, and 3) I loved that they have a little bit of a heel to them. (I’m only 5′ 3″, so I always like shoes that give me a little extra height.) I’m thrilled to report that these 2″ block heels are super easy to wear, in addition to being aesthetically really cute. The whole shoe, actually, is surprisingly cushy on my feet. They have a little foamy lining that makes them way more comfortable than I would’ve expected.
All that being said, they are just faux suede, which means I’ll have to be extra careful that I don’t overwork ’em and wear them down. The soles are on the thin side (something I’ve noticed across all of the shoes I’ve gotten from ShoeDazzle), but it’s not uncomfortable, especially as I’ve been worn these booties with socks so far. But I love the color—I usually reach for black or chestnut-colored booties, but this cool, dove gray hue seems like it’ll work well in a myriad of casual and more sophisticated looks. Plus, it’s not terribly trendy, so this pair should have some longevity.
All in all, I’m super pleased!
The Verdict: I’m really happy with my ShoeDazzle pick this month. It’s a lot of fun browsing oodles of styles each month and picking something new—it’s definitely a nice excuse to treat myself. I’m impressed by the spectrum of shoes that ShoeDazzle offers, from loud, bold, get-noticed party shoes to refined, classic styles that would work at the office or on a coffee date. My personal style tends to be a little more muted, but when I find a fun accessory that I can work in with my daily t-shirt and jeans routine, I’m all about it. I like that ShoeDazzle’s been able to accommodate both of those parts of my style personality. And these shoes, in particular, are crazy comfortable to boot (pun intended)!
