ShoeDazzle January 2018 Review
ShoeDazzle sent me a coupon in my last review for $30 off of a $60 order, so I treated myself to a purse this time around! YOLO (as the kids used to say)!
New year, new Nakedwines.com card in here to tempt me! I am not a big wine drinker, but I can’t help but consider using this service for gifts for others when I see these cards. Someday, I suppose (said just like Dicky from the Mighty Mighty Bosstones)!
ShoeDazzle included this $50 coupon for Hello Fresh meal plan service. This is another service I have considered using, especially due to Jess and Anna’s Hello Fresh reviews! The food always looks so amazing!
Retro Bow Blouse in Roobios Tea Multi, Size 3x - Retail Value $47.95, VIP Price $32.95
When I saw this The Shining carpet meets David Bowie Ziggy Stardust era shirt, I was HOOK LINE AND SINKER! I knew I had to have it in my closet. This print is featured on the top I selected, along with a shirt dress, and also a wrap dress on the ShoeDazzle site. The struggle was real, but I ultimately chose the top because it is the most versatile of the three options. I paired this top with a high waist suspender skirt, black opaque tights, saddle shoes, and one of my favorite pins in honor of our fallen Starman.
The fabric of this top has a slight stretch. The cut of the blouse is flattering and drapes well. The pussybow and the print are a marriage in retro heaven. I absolutely adore the 70s warm rust, orange, and yellow color scheme. Another plus side: you are getting an old-school print without the sweat fest one experiences when draped in polyester. File that under #vintagefiendproblems.
I knew I got an incredible value with this top because I literally had three of four styling options in mind to photograph for this review. This blouse could be paired with a high waist pencil skirt, long, camel-hued trench coat with fur collar and high heeled boots to evoke Mary Richards 70s office fabulousness. I also can envision it being styled perfectly with high waist dark blue skinny jeans, pointy toe flats, a large brimmed hat, and a faux leather biker jacket. I almost substituted my black tights for orange knee-high sweater socks and a beret for this picture as well. See, what I mean? The options are endless with a fantastic top like this!
Francois Crossbody Purse in Black Pebble - Retail Value $59.95, VIP Price $39.95
I have a lot of purses, but I have come to find most of my collection is wild, novelty, tote bags or going out on the town handbags. I needed something a bit more day to day that was a tad more sophisticated. That is when I saw this bag and decided it was necessary. The saddle bag style is a true classic and the faux belts on this add an edge. This is a perfect in-between size for me also. Sure, I won’t be able to fit my gigantic bag of make-up, snacks, and the kitchen sink in it that I typically manage to in my big ol’ tote bags, but this purse will hold my must-have items and then some. I was able to fit a huge jar of almond butter in it today with my wallet, hairbrush, phone, and other random items! Color me impressed! This bag has a zipper as well that keeps your items enclosed safely with an enclosed zippered pocket. The purse is not only stylish, but tremendously functional.
Verdict: Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Okay. I am being facetious. There is no chicken dinner (gosh darn, I just made myself hungry), but this month’s ShoeDazzle selections were definitely winners. The style of both pieces I chose for myself fit my 60s/70s style aesthetic amazingly well. I certainly will get countless outfits from both pieces, which makes them incredible values! On tops of that, I saved $30 with the coupon they included in one of my previous orders! It pays to be a VIP through ShoeDazzle because there are so many sales and incentives. ShoeDazzle gets two thumbs up, way up from me this month!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? It looks like these styles are still around as of writing this review, but act fast! Sometimes sizes can sell out!

Value Breakdown: This order came up to $42.90. If I ordered these items as a non-VIP I would pay $107.90. The VIP Price for the top and purse would have been $72.90, but I had a coupon for $30 off. I saved about 58% by being a VIP and using the $30 off coupon! That is a heck of a deal!
