December 2017 Marvel Collector Corps Review – The Hulk

Collector Corps is a bi-monthly subscription for Funko fanatics. Every delivery is themed in some way – some are themed after comic events/movies, like ‘Civil War‘, or a category of characters, like ‘Women of Power‘, as well as specific characters like ‘Ant-Man‘ and ‘Deadpool‘. This month included a bunch of new product lines!

It comes with an information card that details the items in the box.

And a hint at the next theme on the back – it’s gotta be Black Panther, right?!

The Hulk Patch – Value $5?

This month doesn’t include a pin – but does include a patch. Recently, they’ve been trying to vary their item selection for each box – so you’re no longer guaranteed a patch and pin in each box.

The Hulk Shirt – Value $15?

While I think I’m in the minority, I always enjoy when they do a non-POP t-shirt – so I was happy to see this month’s exclusive graphic. I thought it was a good choice to show the transformation somewhere within the items – the shirt seems like the perfect spot.

Incredible Hulk #1 Hulk and Bruce Banner POP – Value $30-35+?

Recently, Funko has been venturing into new POP ideas – lots of new Star Wars POPs in vehicles and such – so it was great to see this style of a POP in exclusive form!

The biggest part is the big 6-inch Hulk POP in that classic grey – taken right from the cover of The Incredible Hulk #1.

To go with Hulk – you’ll get little-ol’ unsuspecting Bruce Banner!

It’s a very fun idea to pull these characters right off the pages of a classic comic – MORE OF THIS!

Gladiator Hulk Pocket POP – Value $10-15?

This month includes an exclusive Pocket POP variant as well!

Little Gladiator Hulk is ready to join your collection! I just unscrew the keychain from the top of these and pop them on my desk, pun intended.

Hulk Dorbz Stressball – Value $10?

The final item is a brand new item from Funko – a Hulk stressball!

It’s exactly the same dimensions of a Dorbz figure – but squishy of course! I like this idea from Funko – I already have it at my desk and have used it – definitely a cool functional collectible.

Verdict: This was a great Collector Corps in my opinion! I love seeing them trying new types of POPs and items – and I think they hit a home run with the hero item this month! On top of that, I enjoyed the smaller items better than recent month’s item choices.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You’ll find the current available theme on their landing page.
