This month’s collection channels the rapture of infatuation. You know, the kind that causes butterflies and inspires sweet nothings.

Our new bright-eyed eye cream and dreamy polish shades are ready to set the stage for a romantic month ahead. Roses and sappy love songs optional.

So, dive right in with love-struck passion for all the things that make your heart (and eyes) flutter.

Here are all the new polish colors:

And here are the new beauty items:

Eyes for You

Your eyes are the windows to your soul. Keep them bright and ready for deep gazing with our NEW So Awake Depuffing Gel Eye Cream.

This serious multitasker addresses everyday eye woes like puffiness, fine lines, and dark circles. It’s enriched with Caffeine to perk up tired eyes and Turmeric Root Extract to brighten over time.

The fragrance-free, lightweight gel-cream formula absorbs quickly without a heavy feel, making it perfect to layer under makeup. Remember, a little goes a long way!

FUN FACT: The soft, jelly-like applicator tip was designed to mimic your ring finger, making application so easy and hygienic.

Gold Rose Nail Stickers

There's no right or wrong. Mix and layer to your heart's desire!

What’s in the “Wrapped in Love” box? I missed the window to customize this month.

I LOVE that Arlene color (the peach shimmer). Years ago I had one of those Pure Ice polishes from Walmart in that shade and I wore it to death. I could never find a close second in a chemical free version until they released that ‘Coveted 2017’ mini set where Arlene was included and I snatched that up during the last holiday sale. It’s a GORGEOUS color!

As for this month I’m eyeing Arlene, Emmy,Vernice, and Pia.

Nora reminds me too much of Florentina from the August 2017 collection.
Dani reminds me too much of Stacie from the Sept 2017 collection (Stacie in person has a lot of blue in it and looks like Dani’s photos).
Gabriella – it’s pretty but I don’t prefer sheers.

Sarah Where am I missing the polish names? Every time I read these I always wish they would put the names in.

They’re listed on Julep’s website. Go to Julep.com, click on “shop” and then “February 2018.”

Ooh, I like that dusty rose mauve and the cool olive nail polish. I’m also thinking I might go for the eye gel. I prefer lightweight gel formulas for around my eyes.

So this will be my first box. Do I have to choose from these items or any of their items?

Marion

They will give you a default “box” with just these items, but then you can customize your box & remove these items & replace them with a selection of items from their site. There’s a pretty good amount of items you can choose from, but it’s not all the items Julep offers.

If you don’t customize within the selection window (or skip), you will get the default box.

Thanks so much, that helps a lot.

I LOVE the nail polish colors this month but I’m not interested in the beauty item.

I think I’ll actually take a box this month. Interested in the eye cream, and the shimmery color at the top. Is it brown or dark red? Can’t tell really…. but I have enough jules for a free box so I’ll find out.

I have enough as well…have for some time…but can’t figure out how to apply them 😳

I call that shade “cockroach”.

Any particular reason, or you just want to be unpleasant?

Quick question, at the very bottom of the post on the details part, it says “free welcome gift is three nail polishes and one beauty product.” I used the polish gift code for the free set, but is the first box they send a free welcome box that you don’t customize?

Just wanted to say thanks to you kind posters who answered the questions above. I have been on the fence about becoming a maven and wondered many of these things for awhile, and it was quite helpful and informative to read!

Also very nice to see some kind, non-snarky people on here. Have a good weekend! : )

Yes! Thank you all for the responses, you’ve helped a lot! 🙂

I’m pretty sure if you choose the 12 free polishes that’s your welcome gift and you don’t get the other free box. At least that’s how it worked when I joined a few months ago. Also, the free polishes are just 12 random polishes from their collection, not the colors shown on their site. Half of mine were greens and blues which was a bit disappointing since I was expecting the “set” they advertised. But 6 of the colors are ones I’ll use and it was free so 🤷‍♀️.

Agree on the colors you get in the free set. Mine were mostly greens that I will never wear. The rest were muted “dirty” colors, if that makes sense. Maybe only a couple I would wear. I almost think the 3 polish plus beauty item might be a better choice.

If you used the “POLISHGIFT” code for the 12 piece set, you’ll get that first. Depending on when you signed up for your subscription depends on when you will get your first actual Maven box. You can customize your first Maven box, if you want to see when you’ll be getting it you should be able to find out in your account. I want to say you’ll get an e-mail letting you know it’s time to customize, but it’s been a while since I’ve been an active Maven so I can’t say for sure.

I don’t think that last line: “Your free welcome gift includes three nail polishes and one beauty product” should be in the post. They used to run promos like that for new subscribers, but that’s not what currently is running.
