Note from Liz: I’m so happy to introduce our newest reviewer to the MSA team! Welcome, Katie!

Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Graze offers over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences. Some subscribers spend time choosing preferences, noting which options they want to try, think they would like, or "trash" and prefer not to receive. Each Graze box may look completely different!

Graze Box Open

For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to "trash" snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.

Boxes are shipped via USPS and are conveniently designed to fit in most standard mailboxes.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This review is of the 8-Snack, $13.99 a month, box.

Graze January 2018 Review #3

Graze Pamphlet

Graze includes a handy pamphlet that lays out the inspiration, health benefits, and flavors behind their featured snacks. On the back, this pamphlet also lists all of the nutritional values for the month’s snacks.

Lemon Drizzle Flapjack

Lemon Drizzle Flapjack, 1.9 oz. – Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99

These lemon flapjacks were simply incredible! Softer than your average granola bar, and moist enough to be considered a borderline-cake, these rolled oat bars were simply a delight to enjoy. The sheer oomph of the zesty lemon flavor shocked me, and the bars’ soft texture was pleasantly surprising to bite into. At 250 calories, these may be a little on the indulgent side, but when it feels and tastes like a dessert, it’s totally worth it!

Mocha Walnut Cake

The chocolate-covered coffee beans included in this deconstructed snack pack were admittedly the best I’ve ever had. Their intense coffee flavor did seem to seep into everything else, however, so both the walnuts and the raisins tasted like a strong cup of coffee. If you’re searching for a trail mix with a good crunch and a lot of buzz, this is the snack for you!

Jalapeño Cheese Taco

I loved the textures in this snack! Featuring cheesy cashews, chili broad beans, and jalapeño chickpeas, this round-up is a surefire way to feel full. Its high fiber content is also something to go nuts over! The chickpeas could have used a bit more spice to truly be considered jalapeño, but other than that: a solid snack.

Louisiana Wild Rice and Beans

This snack was fantastic. They had a spicy kick that might have been even stronger than the jalapeño chickpeas! Small hints of paprika, combined with the crunch of wild rice sticks and chili broad beans, made for a flavorful, satisfying experience.

White Chocolate with Wild Blueberry Toasts

I’ll admit, I was a bit hesitant to try these at first. Blueberry-flavored foods have always tasted “fake” and processed to me, but this was certainly an exception!

The light zest of the wholemeal blueberry toasties evens out the sweetness of the white chocolate dip, resulting in a soft flavor combination that’s sure to start your morning on the right foot. I would enjoy these crunchy dunkers with a cup of coffee any day!

Booster Seeds

Booster Seeds, 1.3 oz. – Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99

This back-to-basics snack was one of my favorites in the box, believe it or not. Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and golden flaxseeds make this protein-packed medley a tasty snack you can feel good about on the go. And, can we talk about that vibrant green color?!

That’s one of my favorite things about Graze—it highlights the beauty of nature while serving up unique tastes and combinations to boot.

Twist of Black Pepper Popcorn

Another simple star of the bunch! I’d never thought of putting black pepper on my popcorn before, but now I’m a believer. At only 130 calories, this pop-it-yourself pouch is a healthy indulgence you can enjoy all to yourself.

Snickerdoodle Dip and Cinnamon Pretzel Sticks

These were divine, both as separate parts and as a combined, dipped treat! The pretzel sticks BURST with cinnamon flavor and brought back memories of my favorite cinnamon graham crackers from childhood. Dunked in the creamy Snickerdoodle Dip, which really tastes like snickerdoodles, this crunchy snack morphed into a delectable dessert that clocked in at only 150 calories.

Verdict: Graze has their image, curation, and creative flavors down to an art. The range of textures was what impressed me most of all this month, with soft and creamy consistencies that made healthy snacking feel decadent! My top two favorites from this 8-pack round-up would certainly be the beloved lemon flapjacks and the snickerdoodle-dipped pretzel sticks.

Value-wise, I received eight snacks for $13.99, making each snack worth $1.75. With eight snacks included, I love treating myself to two work snacks a week to make ‘em last all month!
