  1. My first box with them, and the only way I found out there was a delay until mid-feb is by this blog post. I’m not happy with them. Thank you, Liz, at least someone out there cares to give a bit of information!!

  2. What upsets me the most is going on YouTube and seeing reviewers, most of them not even paying for the box, posting videos of the Jan 2018 box. So the reviewer’s box is more important than the people actually ordering them?

  3. GeekGear and Accio also have/are HP fan boxes. Cheaper, might be a better choice than this waiting game.

    • I subscribe to geekgear and I LOVE IT! They send wands and all kinds of fun stuff. The box i got a bath bomb that was AMAZING!

  4. Is anyone else getting worried? I placed my order December 20th and still haven’t heard back after multiple emails. I know they accepted my order since I was given a receipt. I’m feeling like they just took my money.

    • Not yet. I didn’t get my November Crate until right before Christmas (week of). This is my last crate. UNLESS there’s a personalized (i.e. my initial) Weasley Sweater in this box… then I would consider resubbing.

      • Me too. Although it is my first box, I’m not impressed by the shipping delay or their customer service. I decided to switch to Japan Crate instead.

        • Same here. My first crate (November 2017) arrived in mid January, the one for January will be sent in late February. I mean come on. I already cancelled the subscription, this is not cool.

    • I placed my order December 26,2017 and still have not received my Jan box yet either. I just got charged for the next box and I emailed the company. it took 4 days and 5 emails of me bugging them before i got a response.

    • I about to send a email to customer support because I don’t like this waiting game. It’s the middle of February now, where is the tracking number at least??

  5. the delayed shipment came in and none of the items are Wizarding world, it’s all normal Loot Crate items. Not what was expected or desired.

  6. Seriously? Again?! I get this and the regular Loot crate. When was the last time either shipped on time?

  7. I emailed Loot Crate AND the Wizarding World Company, it has been four days and no one told me that the box was delayed. That should have been their first answer. I am disappointed with this, I had/have high hopes for this box, but this is upsetting.

  8. I had a feeling that this crate will also be delayed. And they don’t even sound apologetic any more… Basically they just “inform” us, so deal with it… 🙁

  9. I agree I want an extra item or 15$ off my bill please and thanks. If they don’t pick up their act I won’t be able to renew!
    Also, I never get these emails, so I have to google to see if anyone’s got a shipping notification.

  10. I KNEW IT! I was commenting just yesterday on the Loot delays on the special crates. This is happening every shipment for Wizarding and Firefly. I really enjoy these crates but they have been going slowly downhill and shipping delays on top of it. I hope they pull it together and don’t fold.

    • I figured it as well as they’ve been having a lot of issues lately. Plus when the previous box ran behind, how could they stay ahead this time? If they fold at least give me a refund hopefully.

  11. This seems to be happening more and more, makes me leery of joining anymore boxes. I wish my subscription wouldn’t have renewed for a year. Honestly I also wish they’d stop giving us codes for loot vault items. How about 15.00 off of my bill? Or an extra item to make up for it in the box that is in theme.

    • I agree with you. A credit on my bill, or an extra in-theme item in our box would be much better than a Vault credit. Vault items take forever to ship, and I really don’t want a non HP item anyway.

    • Totally agree. Especially with how long it takes to get stuff from the Loot Vault.

      • How do you even get the loot vault credit? I didn’t even get that!

        • It was in the email they sent. They gave you a redemption code, but it’s a bit tricky figuring out where to put during checkout. It doesn’t work on shipping, and you don’t get to keep the change leftover in your account. I managed to get my total to $14.97. Didn’t find anything I actually wanted, but my husband will be happy.

    • I got the code to redeem, but the code doesn’t cover shipping, which is stupid.

      • They have free shipping today, I managed to get a totally free order to be shipped here to the UK. However I only found out about all this after googling it, I was not sent any email with any coupon code, I got the coupon code off this website which was seemingly available to and able to be used by anybody if they searched for it. Because when I went through loot vault check out my loot crate account didn’t seem to mean I had an account on loot vault, so I setup a new account with the same email address as loot crate account but upon checkout no validation seemed to take place on whether I was actually a wizarding world subscriber – which I am, for the record.

    • If you complain enough they’ll add it off your next crate that’s what I did… But they did it for the one after next. Which is annoying because now I’m charged for another box, that will probably be delayed again
