Please help as I am new to this subscription, only purchased mystery bag. How does the monthly selection being done? I rarely paint my nail, so I am more interested in getting make up and skincare. Is it possible to choose all make up/skincare and none of nail colors every month?

Yes, it is possible. I do it often. You can pick whatever you want to be in your box during the open window (it’s around the 22-24th of the month). That’s also when you can skip the month if you don’t want anything and you won’t be charged.

Hi! The Maven Box “Reveal” is from the 20th-24th every month – you can keep what they select for you or pick and choose what you like to make your box suite your needs! Also, a day or two after the Maven window closes on the 24th, the Secret Store opens for a couple days. They have GREAT deals and bundles with the Secret Store — don’t forget to check it out! I love Julep’s skincare, makeup and nail products. I hope you enjoy — I’ve been a Julep Maven for 4+ year!

I adore the night shift sleeping mask. You only need a very thin layer but I saw an improvement in my skin the next morning! I use this as a moisturizer in winter sometimes, it’s great! And most moisturizers meant for your face shouldn’t be used in the eye area anyway! That skin is much more delicate and needs lighter treatments.

I agree…I was really impressed with it. I make sure to use it nights before a day when I need to look extra nice (or need all the help I can get) because I notice a difference overnight too!

I agree completely. I saw a lady complain about a moisturizer on a different site saying she wished moisturizers would stop putting SPF in them because it irritates her eyes. You’re not supposed to put it around your eyes!

Note that you cannot use Night Shift around the eye area. That was a disappointment to me. It is very heavy and greasy, too. FYI.
