Facetory FOUR-ever Fresh Subscription Box Review – December 2017

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Facetory Four December 2017

Facetory is a monthly sheet mask facial subscription. The company aims to provide its members with the latest cult faves from the Korean sheet mask trend. Rather than arriving in a box, like the SEVEN LUX subscription, this smaller FOUR-ever Fresh version comes in a cool pouch that has the same awesome design. Love their packaging!

Facetory Four December 2017

This is a review of the FOUR-ever Fresh subscription level ($12.95 per month + shipping), which includes 4 curated sheet masks made from traditional fabrics like cotton and cellulose. They also offer a SEVEN LUX subscription level, which includes 7 curated sheet masks with slightly higher-functioning ingredients (think hydrogels and other more sophisticated ingredients).

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Facetory Four December 2017

Out of all the boxes I have received so far, I think the information cards that come with Facetory are the most helpful! With a lot of these face masks, the directions for use are in another language so on the info card, they are described in English. So helpful! They also give you a lot more information on how and why that mask is great for your skin.

This month’s theme is “Glow” because of that warm holiday glow we feel this time of year. Since it is the holidays, a coupon code for 20% all marketplace orders is included on this postcard.

The Face Shop Aloe Mask – Retail Value $2.50

I love the smell of aloe! As soon as I took a whiff, I knew I would like this mask. Not only was the smell fresh and subtle, but the mask was super refreshing. My skin looked brighter and felt smoother!

No:HJ Miko Leaders Pore Control Mask – Retail Value $4.00

I don’t love masks that have a super perfumey smell and this one definitely had that going on. That being said, it was still a good one. Once it came off, my skin seemed a little dryer than I would have preferred, but it was really smooth.

G9 Skin Milk Bomb Mask – Listed Value $3.50 (Found here for $1.95)

I thought that when I opened this mask that it would smell like very sweet strawberry candy, but it was much more subtle and nice. I used this in the AM and my skin felt so moisturized afterward. The one thing that I thought was a little strange was that it dried out sort of quickly on my face. I didn’t leave it on that long either, so I did think that was weird, not bad.

Baroness Pomegranate Mask Sheet – Retail Value $2.50

Sometimes when you take a mask out of the package it’s dripping in serum, but this one was a little drier and the mask was a little thicker. Personally, I liked that. The scent was nice too, a subtle pomegranate not too “fake” or strong. When I took the mask off, my face was bright and my skin tone looked so even!

The Verdict: Overall, this was an average mix of masks this month. This wasn’t my favorite one of all time, but it wasn’t bad either. My favorite mask was the aloe one from The Face Shop because it gave me everything I want in a mask, fresh scent, and refreshing/brightening effect. Definitely still worth having because it makes self-care much more convenient.

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? No, order by the end of the month to get that month’s box. If you sign up today, you will receive the January box. But all of the masks are available in their shop!

Value Breakdown: This box comes in at $8.90 including the cost of shipping. Because this is an older box, the price is lowered to $5.95 plus shipping. That puts the average value of each mask at $2.22.

  1. Pretty sure its $8.95+$2.95 for shipping..

  2. Yeah I’m pretty sure this is not even close to the correct price for this box..

  3. It’s the 4ever fresh 5.95

    • Yeah, the price is wrong and this box is in fact available for purchase from them.

      • Hello! I see a few questions about the pricing. Since this review was posted later than usual, the January box is the one that would have been sent out if you signed up for the subscription. With that, the December box was still available (it’s now sold out) but the pricing changed to $12.95 as that is the retail price. Does that make sense?

  4. Only liked 2 out of the 4 masks. The other 2 were so huge on my face it didn’t feel or look right. So other than that I love these masks and the overall quality was great!
