I just received their Newsletter with 1st Handbag Spoiler – Lancaster – France and bought the box.
My previous experience with 5th Ave LE boxes was pretty good.

I love 5th Ave, even though they are late sometimes, I receive things that I enjoy and use often. Nothing really sits in a closet especially handbags.

The last review of a 5th ave style box was in Summer 2016. There were a lot of commments on that one that made me leery of subscribing.

Well they don’t provide tracking or much personal customer service although they will tell you if shipping is delayed. For the cost there’s much much less personalization or updates than a box of $20. Still waiting on the holiday box myself.

I’m guessing they won’t give MSA samples and they don’t get enough hits on posts to justify the $270 price tag.
Shame too, I keep wondering if the box is worth setting aside some $$ for!

I am always confused about this box, so I’ve never ordered or joined. Is there any real advantage of getting a membership vs purchasing a single box? Also, I’ve looked at the questionnaire and am wondering if they go strictly by your stated preferences, or if they give you options? TIA!

WARNING TO PURCHASERS – I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY FALL LE BOX THAT I PURCHASED LAST JUNE. The excuse is because the bag that I chose has been delayed. I have followed up with them twice. While the response is quick, it doesn’t change the fact that I paid $195 more than 6 months ago. The boxes were supposed to be shipped in September 2017.

All – I received my box on Jan 29. My packing slip did not have the Retail Values and for the delay I received a small nice smelling votive candle and one bangle bracelet. I could not look up the retail values because the even though most of the brands were on the internet, I am assuming the items were not available any longer. The items are “fall season, so they will sit in my closet for six months before I use them. I paid $195 for this box after the coupon. I personally don’t think I would have gotten any update if I had not made any noise, and that is what frustates me the most.
A few words of advice: keep all order numbers, emails handy when dealing with this company because I think you are going to need them.

Admittedly, we had a few situations where our fall boxes got delayed and it looks like yours is one of them. It was European vendor related delay combined with a few other factors.
As promised, the box will be shipped with a gift to you. Also, in cases like this, we put extra efforts to make sure that a client really like the box and feels that it was worth waiting for.

Can 5th Avenue please provide an update as to when the Holiday boxes will ship? There are a lot of people on MSA’s forum stating they’ve received no shipping notification, including myself. I purchased two holiday boxes.

Thank you for the quick response. As I noted above, your company does always respond promptly. If others reading are curious, I chose the Dr. Apple bag. Perhaps it was the color that I ordered that is causing the delay. I ordered a brown. I don’t remember which brown as it was six months ago. I just wanted to caution readers that this could happen to them, if they ordered. While others have had great experiences with this box, I have yet to receive anything yet.
I always appreciate when others relay their experiences so that I can make an informed purchase and I am trying to do the same. I am also reaching out directly to your company.
