Sticky Kit December 2017 Review
There isn't an info card per se, but a business card identifying the month with their website on it.
The other side says "thank you" and asks you to tag photos on social media.
Here's another "thank you" card—it is the season during which to be grateful, after all!
Metallic Gold Gel Pen
Sticky Kit includes a bonus non-tape item in their washi tape kits and this time I received a golden gel pen. The ink is nice and thick, and dark, so it actually shows up well on white paper. This will be awesome to use for writing names on gift tags as I package up Christmas presents!
Taisetsu Major Snow Washi Tape - Retail Value $2.50
It just snowed for the first time this winter where I live, and I love snow, so I was already feeling excited and festive when this snowy landscape washi entered my life! The neutral tones and flurry-flecked wooded setting of the cottages it depicts remind me of evenings tucked into a cabin after hitting the slopes, and it's making my heart swell with fondness. I might have to save this washi tape for my next trip to the mountains, so that I can leave my friends little notes in an awesomely on-theme way.
Shousetsu Tree Washi Tape - Estimated Value $3.25
I scoured pages and pages of washi tapes to try and find this tree-patterned design but ultimately had to link to something similar to give an idea of value. This past summer, my husband and I went on a backpacking trip with two other couples, and we formed an extremely close bond while out in nature. I've been thinking I'd like to send each of them something small for the holidays, like a gift card or even just a homemade Christmas card, and this nature-inspired washi tape will help me jazz it up.
Spacecraft Christmas Wreath Washi Tape - Retail Value $7.90
It's hard to tell since I photographed it against a white background, but this tape features scalloped edges, created by having a sort of die-cut situation around the wreaths. That small detail, along with a watercolor design and metallic gold touches here and there, makes this Christmas-themed tape really lovely and a little fancier than the others. If there's a wreath or two you particularly like, you could even cut it out and use it as a sticker!
The Verdict: This was my first time receiving the Sticky Kit Washi Tape subscription, and I couldn't be more excited about the beautiful tapes I received. For $17.99 ($14.99 a month + $3 shipping), I received a high-quality gel pen and three washi tape rolls. I can't wait to put these tapes to use and enjoy their lovely designs!
