Library of Flowers Linden Handcreme box closed

Library of Flowers Linden Handcreme

Library of Flowers Linden Handcreme2.3 oz – Retail Value $24.00

This creamy, scented hand cream is ready for gifting with the lotion stored in a sturdy decorative box. The lotion didn’t have a seal. I had to poke a hole on top of the opening. I hate when lotions don’t come with a peel-off seal. The scent reminds me of flowers and perfume; the aroma lingered on my hands but slowly faded. I’m always in need of hand cream; my hands are extremely dry this winter. Some of the moisturizing ingredients consist of, shea butter, macadamia seed oil, avocado oil, and cocoa seed butter. This hand cream is not greasy or overly thick.

Glamazon Stick-Creamy Highlight Crayon

Glamazon Stick Creamy Highlight Crayon – Retail Value $12.00

Unfortunately, this product came damaged upon opening the box. I reached out to SinglesSwag and they are sending a replacement! I was able to scoop up a small amount to test on my cheekbones. This creamy highlight didn’t give the desired results I had hoped for; I didn’t get that pop or glow when I applied to my face. The product has cocoa butter and jojoba oil and is cruelty-free.

Ashley Shelly 2018 Notebook Planner

Ashley Shelly 2018 Notebook Planner calendar

Ashley Shelly 2018 Notebook Planner lined paper

Ashley Shelly 2018 Notebook Planner – Retail Value $18.00

This particular cover style was not on their website, but there were other cover styles to choose. The planner has “Make Your Dreams Happen” on the front cover. The 2018 planner has a yearly overview, 2018 holiday dates, monthly calendar with a small section for notes and behind each month a 2-page section for notes. I get excited about the new year and opening up a new planner to start my year off, and this planner is the right size for my purse. I appreciate a subscription box company putting seasonal items in their boxes at the appropriate time unlike other subs in the past that sent out calendars or planners in January when arrival times varies per customer, and the typical individual usually gets their calendars and planners before the new year.

Ashley Shelly 2018 Notebook Planner note

A note was included indicating a misprint on the dates for January. There’s an option to contact SinglesSwag to receive the two-day sticker that I can place over the incorrect days. I reached out to SinglesSwag and they will be sending me the correct stickers this week.

Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle in Chocolate Chip, 2.75 oz. – Retail Value $1.99

These bite-sized brownie brittle chocolate chip cookies are delicious. I devoured them while typing this review. The cookies are crunchy and have a strong chocolate flavor. When I first took a bite, it tasted as if I was eating chocolate chips.

Executive Society Control Bracelet

Executive Society Control Bracelet

Executive Society Control Bracelet – Retail Value $44.99 (found here for $34.99)

This stylish rose gold plated stainless steel, beaded bracelet with a wax rope adjustable sliding pull closure will be the perfect accessory for the upcoming holiday. The adjustable sliding pull closure ensures a perfect fit for any wrist size but putting the bracelet on and taking it off can be difficult. I had a challenging time pulling the adjustable closure on my wrist, after multiple tries I was able to maneuver the pull closure to put on and take off. I appreciate the style of this bracelet and the ability to adjust the size to fit your wrist, but there must be another way that’s easier to maneuver. The bracelet came in a black pouch with the Executive Society logo on front. Enclosed with the bracelet was a card with care instructions and a code for 30% off redeemable on their website. I love rose gold, and this beaded bracelet is a favorite and will pair well with other rose gold accessories I own. The dimensions are 6.5”x 11.”

Adore Essence Facial Detoxifying Cream Cleanser

Adore Essence Facial Detoxifying Cream Cleanser, 4.05 oz. – Retail Value $99.95 (currently sold out)

Wow, a little goes a long way, I made the mistake of massaging a large amount of this creamy, lathering cleanser onto my face and I had excess, will know for next time to use a small amount, since this is worth $99.95. I need to use sparingly. This product is a favorite of the SinglesSwag team, and they were excited to share with their subscribers. The cleanser was creamy, frothy, left my skin smooth and youthful in appearance. I did notice after I used how clear and good my skin looked, I didn’t realize the price point until I started writing this review, a bit pricey for a cleanser but the results were worth it.

From Adore Cosmetics:

“Formulated for skin harmed by harsh weather, smog, damaging UV rays and other toxins, this unique formula adds a powerful and proven anti-aging breakthrough to protect your skin and reverse damage of age and the elements. The key is our exclusive Plant Stem Cell formula, proven to restore youthful appearance by protecting your skin’s own stem cells and encouraging them to renew skin texture. The formula is combined with Allantoin to deeply hydrate by binding moisture to dry skin.

This cleansing cream has an anti-bacterial agent that remains on the skin for prolonged periods of time and continues working to fight microbial damage. And chamomile, which soothes and calms skin while restoring vitality to delicate areas of the face. Ideal for daily use, this gentle cream removes any remaining traces of make-up and oils while purifying your skin, restoring its pH level and revealing a new surface that welcomes make up or moisturizing cream.”

Flawless Silicone Blender – Retail Value $11.00

From Mirabella:

What it is:

“An innovative, washable and reusable alternative that makes wasting cosmetics a thing of the past.  The Flawless Silicone Blender allows for effective spreading and blending of liquid/cream cosmetics, while using only half the amount of product associated with traditional application with a sponge or brush.  The cutting-edge Flawless Sponge is made of highly durable, non-porous silicone making it incredibly easy to clean.”

I have seen this on Instagram and in varies beauty sub boxes and was curious about its effectiveness. I usually use the Beauty Blender. The product was weird to use; I’m used to the sponge applicator. The applicator is smooth and flat not as pliable as the sponge applicator. I tapped the silicone blender on my face in circular motions to build coverage. A little amount of the product goes a long way when using this silicone blender.

Verdict: The SinglesSwag box was another month of quality products with the 2018 notebook planner, hand creme, cookie bites, and cleansing cream as my favorites. The box contents were well curated and ended the year successfully with products that I will use, and enjoy. This month was heavy on beauty products with one fashion item, and one lifestyle item, and as always a yummy snack to devour. SinglesSwag has sent stylish, chic accessories throughout this year and I can’t wait to see whats up next for 2018. The box delivers on sending 5-7 products monthly, the value is way over the cost of the box, which is $39.99 a month with free shipping in the U.S. and there’s always a food item each month. Despite the name, there is a market for women’s lifestyle/ beauty boxes, and this box intends to encourage and uplift their subscribers by choosing products that will pamper them. Every box on the market may not be for everyone, but it’s nice to have options. Check out their Instagram page to get more encouraging quotes! The December box has a value of about $212.00.

  1. Does that bracelet really say not to bring it into a lab or run with it?
    So confused.

    • I’m thinking keep away from harsh chemicals and sweat🤔

  2. I can appreciate that they’re trying to correct a printing error with the calendars, but if they knew enough ahead of time to make up these cards that indicated there was an issue, wouldn’t they have had enough time to just print the stickers and automatically include them? It seems kind of ridiculous they want people to reach out for THEIR correction.

  3. Singleswag is definitely a hit or miss type of sub. One month they’re rad, the next month it’s junk. December is very much so a “junk” month.

January at least has a cute necklace. Jewelry is typically it’s saving grace.

  4. Thx for the review Nichelle. Love this box. I signed up for the Black Friday for 6 months making each box $26.25. Awesome deal, so happy!

    • That’s cool, enjoy your boxes, Darcie!
