Sanrio Nesting Dolls in Box

Here’s our first item- even the packaging is cute!

Sanrio Nesting Dolls

Sanrio Nesting Dolls

This set of five nesting dolls is over the top cute. I just love all of the colors and how each character is done in the style of the Little Twin Stars for this quarter’s “Sweet Dreams” theme.

Back of all Sanrio Nesting Dolls

The designs carry over to the back where you’ll find everyone’s tails and some more celestial aspects.

Hello Kitty Nesting Doll

It all starts with Hello Kitty.

Who’s inside Keroppi? It’s a tiny Chococat!

Chococat opens for a place to stash a trinket, or perhaps a small roll of cash for a super fun stocking stuffer.

Next, we have a great item for this chilly season, a throw blanket! It has light pink piping around the dark blue sky design.

At 60 x 46 inches, this blanky has room for all of the known Sanrio constellations such as Chococat, Pochacco, Little Twin Stars, Keroppi, Hello Kitty, and My Melody in rainbow colors across the night sky. Magical!

O hai, Kiki and Lala!

Sanrio Sweet Dreams Sleep Mask

I can be really picky about my sleeping conditions, so I appreciate a good sleeping mask! I need complete darkness and utter silence, which, coupled with earplugs, this pastel satin-like mask can help with.

The words “Sweet Dreams” in pale purple, outlined in pink, green, and yellow are printed across the front with Pochacco, Hello Kitty, Chococat, My Melody, and Keroppi all napping around it with stars scattered about.

The inside has a constellation design that mirrors the throw blanket against a soft violet sky. There’s also a wide elastic strap to keep this snuggly on your head as you drift off to sleep.

Zzzz…

Sanrio t-shirt

Like all of the items included, this soft 100% cotton tee is exclusive to Sanrio Small Gift and can only be received through subscribing. When I first pulled this out, I thought it’d be an oversized nightgown, but crisp white regular tee will still do to nap in.

Once again, we find the whole gang asleep on puffy pastel clouds, just trying to hibernate until Spring (that’s my guess). I would not mind joining them.

little twins stars metal and enamel charm, on card

Little Twin Stars Enamel Charm

I grew up being a super emo teen, so in early high school, I was a big fan of Kiki and Lala because they always seemed so sensitive.

Here, they hitch a ride on a big yellow star. The charm is a sturdy gold-plated metal with enamel and can be hung from your keys or a be used as a zipper pull to make your winter coat cuter!

Lastly, we have a simple pink foam trinket that came stickered to the wrapping to greet me as soon as I opened the box. It reminds me of a marshmallow but sadly it is not for eating.

Verdict: This quarter, Sanrio Small Gift Crate sent me five (not including the foam charm) exclusive Sanrio items that were really pleasing in color and super kawaii. That’s fewer items than the Fall delivery, but I really think the nesting dolls are something special! I loved seeing so many of my favorite characters represented here and I am really feeling all these naps they’re taking.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Unfortunately, no. But you have until March 15th to sign up for the Spring box! (pssst: check out our most recent spoilers here).

Coupon – Use code LIFEISCRATE to get 30% off any multi-month subscription!

Value Breakdown: At $42.99 for this box, for five items, you are paying about $8.60 each.

  1. I was scared this would be too Hello Kitty centered (not a huge fan, I like the other characters more) But this box looks nice. And especially the Fall Box. Also the summer box.
I think I will subscribe for the March box!
