Panda Pals December 2017 Review
Our first sock of the month is this festive string of lights print. I love the different shades of blue that are perfect for a girl or boy. The lights are neutral enough that they can be worn all winter long as well! The socks are always such high quality as well making them perfect to wear during the cold months with boots.
Meet Pompadour the Penguin, he loves to play outside and frolic in the snow! Panda Pals does such a great job fitting a character into the monthly theme and then adding them to a pair of socks. With it being winter, I was so excited to see this silly penguin for the December box. My son is obsessed with animals and has a new found love for the snow so he thought Pompadour was way cool, we especially liked his crazy hair! These socks really give character and meaning to the overall theme which makes receiving socks that much more fun!
Every month you will receive a "soctivity" page for you and your little one to enjoy. I already introduced you to Pompadour the Penguin, but here he is again to help us learn about this month's activities. This first page is an informative look at all things penguins. This was so fun to read to my son!
The next part of our activity page is all about letters! This is the perfect time of year to send letters to a friend, a family member that lives far away, or to Santa even! I myself love sending mail, and I really appreciate that this page outlines everything you need to write and send a letter. Teaching the lost art of letter writing to our youth! This page even comes with DIY cards that you can cut out for your little one to make and send to whomever they wish. If my son could write, I think he would send a letter to his friend The Hulk.
Panda Pals always sends along a few extra items that are great for your little one to play with. My son's latest obsession is stickers so I was really happy to receive this fun sheet! He loved all of the cute critters and socks to design a sticker page with.
We seem to misplace, break, or eat crayons on a weekly basis now. I am always happy to receive some fresh crayons. These come in a nice little bag that was great to toss in my diaper bag to take with us when we went out to dinner recently. My son will never get sick of coloring or eating crayons!
Verdict: Panda Pals is such a fun way to get kids excited for socks and to learn! I have been so impressed with the quality and curation from my past boxes that I purchased a subscription for my niece this holiday. Each sock design is unique in a way that will help your little one stand out. The extra toys and activity pages are always a hit with my son as well which makes this box so much fun for us to enjoy together, and I know he is getting extra socks each month that I don't have to worry about getting at the store!

Value Breakdown: At $16 a month including shipping, the socks break down to about $8 a piece. While that might seem on the higher end for kids socks, I can safely say that the quality from Panda Pals is much higher than other brands I have seen. Plus, you get the fun activity pages and surprise toys, and you are helping to donate socks to people in need with every purchase you make from Panda Pals.
