Olia Box November 2017 - Package

Olia Box is a jewelry styling box that sends you 2-3 pieces that complement your style each month. Subscribers fill out a questionnaire when they sign up to let your stylist know what tones of metals you wear, what necklace style you prefer, and any other comments you might want to tell them (like pierced ears or ring size).

Olia Box November 2017 - Package Contents

When you sign up, you’ll get to answer these questions:

  • Which metal tone(s) do you wear? (Gold Only, Silver Only, Mix Gold & Silver, or Surprise Me)
  • Which necklace style(s) do you prefer? (Everything Dainty, Bold & Chunky, Long Pendants, or Surprise Me)

I chose Surprise Me for each of these. You can change your preferences anytime by sending customer service an email.

There is also a comment box that you can add any additional info you want them to know. I added that I have multiple piercings in each ear.

Olia Box November 2017 Review

This month’s jewelry coordinates well with gold-tone metals and navy accents. Let’s check it out:

Gold and Navy Fan Statement Earrings

Gold and Navy Fan Statement Earrings - Estimated Value $16

Wow! All of the jewelry I’ve received from Olia Box so far has been pretty dainty, but these are definitely statement! These earrings are matte gold tone with navy thread arranged in a fan shape. They are surprisingly light and comfortable to wear. I love that these paired with a simple top make for a fun outfit. The back is finished in a nice pattern too.

This long necklace is also in gold tone, although this time it’s shiny. The first layer falls around collarbone level while the long layer hangs down to waist level. Just below my bustline, the necklace gathers with 4 shiny gold disks and has a couple of chains dangling off. The chain is made of small circle links that catch light making for a shimmery effect. This piece is perfect for long tunics and cardigans this time of year. It also has an extender so you can adjust as needed.

Beaded Bracelet Set

The last coordinating pieces this month are a set of dainty beaded bracelets. The first is a single-stranded bracelet with shiny gold faceted beads. This one catches so much light for how delicate it is. The second is a dual stranded beaded bracelet with round disk beads in navy and gold. These look so nice stacked together and are so light I forget that they are even there! I have them tightened all the way but these have a lot of room to expand if you needed.

Here are all of the pieces worn together. I think the delicate detail on the necklace and bracelets work nicely to no compete with the earrings.

The Verdict: Olia Box has once again sent jewelry that works with my style! I don’t think I would have picked these earrings for myself, but I'm so glad they sent them. I love that these pieces are so versatile and can be worn alone or together for a coordinating look without being too matchy-matchy. There are no brand markings on the jewelry, but compared to prices for similar pieces (at Target.com), I feel like the value of this box just exceeds the cost. This box seems less about getting a huge discount and more about curating jewelry that works for you. If anything hadn’t been my style, I could have reused the box for gifting. I’ve been so pleased with the selection each month and I can’t wait to see what they surprise me with next month.

The Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Olia Box chooses jewelry for you based on your answers to the style choices. You might not get the same items I did, but you may end up with pieces that are even better for you. Sign up now to see what they pick for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $34.99 which means that each of the 3 pieces of jewelry in the box has an average cost of $11.66.
