The glossy faux past was nothing near the boxy debacle. Holy nuggets they screwed the pooch on that one. This box is Meh..but the serum and candle were worth it

I have one ” on the way” but it’s stuck in a hub in Shepherdsville, KY, ( sorry if I spelled the town wrong) and that’s halfway across the country from me.
Says I will have it by the 15th. I’m sitting here laughing. Might as well, since I don’t have my Holiday PS box or my Winter BOS.

Are they counting New Year’s as THE holiday now? 🙂 🙂

Wow – thank you MSA!! I had a Glossybox subscription years and years ago and never thought to log in again. I just did and I have $6 credit for some reason. I know it’s not a lot but it makes this amazing box even cheaper for me. SOLD!
I can’t wait to get the Nest candle and Sunday Riley and try the eye liner. So excited!

Thanks Liz (and Barbara) for the heads-up! I waited too long when it was first out, and hoped they’d release more so I could use up my $21-ish credit! It seemed like a lot of people from MSA said they canceled after some drama unfolded a few weeks ago… so I hoped there would be more available!

I subscribed on/off to GB over the years and was really salty with them about certain things, one of which was the fact that you couldn’t redeem your glossydots unless it was like, the end of your subscription…. the old “you cannot redeem dots if your account is inactive” game. Huh? I had like 2500 dots and after I redeem 1000 I have to re-subscribe to redeem the rest?
I’m happy they changed it into a credit situation so I could feel better about this box! I’m a terrible grudge holder, so I don’t COMPLETELY forgive GB, but this gets me a lot closer, LOL. 😉

I “reserved” this box when they first announced it. Then cancelled as the spoilers started coming out and the Sunday Riley was the only thing I was interested in….and, of course, due to the whole thing about them trying to blame another company (MSA) for advertising exactly what was once on their website instead of taking personal responsibility. I suspect they may have only temporarily suspended selling this box until the storm passed and they had a chance to reground themselves after the buyout/merger. At least I hope they have collected themselves and things will be smoother now. That being said, since Allure’s January box will include this same full sized Sunday Riley product and I’m already a subscriber and will get that box for $10, I no longer have any excuse to buy this one. Oh well. Maybe next time…maybe. I truly did love their last CEW Awards box…

I just got my box today.. If I knew Allure was sending out a full sized Sunday Riley, I would have never bought this box, as the serum was the only only reason I ever bought it.

Haven’t shopped Glossybox in over 2 years, but somehow had almost $5 in credit, so YOLO’d on this box. For the serum ALONE it’s worth it, and I really wanted that candle! The rest will prob be gifted but even that is worth it to me.

I’ve bought so many boxes (at least a dozen) since this was originally pulled, that I now have waaaay too much and don’t really need this one now. It looks as though they no longer offer a discount for current subscribers to purchase limited edition boxes anymore also. I’m glad everyone that wanted one is getting a chance now though.

I have $23 credit on GB but I can’t figure out how to use it for this box. I bought my first Holiday box and used $20 credit. It was super easy but the checkout has changed. Anyone else having difficulty using credit?

Go through the checkout steps then at the end, underneath the credit card info and promo code section, it shows your credit amount and you have to enter the amount you want to use. So if you have a credit of $8.10 you have to put 8.10 then hit apply.

I grabbed one! Been wanting the Sunday Riley but just missed it last time…so I’m happy!

Thank you for your help! I just got one for $16. This box is really nice. The serum and candle make it worth it for me. The actual box is gorgeous too!! The last thing I need is more products but it’s too good a deal to pass up.

Brenda

I’m thrilled they have some to purchase. I waited to long when it first came out and missed getting one. Needless to say, I jumped on this right away.

I bought another one just for the container, the rest is a bonus! I was wishing I had another container when I was decorating my room the other day to stack on top of each other.
