Before I dive into my picks for this month, here's more information about the Frank And Oak Style Plan sign-up process:

After choosing a monthly or bi-monthly plan, several clothing options are presented one at a time so you can rate each. Overall, the clothing is minimal and sophisticated, a big trend that I am seeing everywhere right now!

Once Frank And Oak Style Plan has an idea of your style preferences, they present clothing options that match your style. In addition to several images and fabric and sizing info, you can either pick from your style recommendations, skip the month, or shop across the regular store each month.

Frank and Oak Invoice

My box included an invoice for the two items I chose. There is a helpful section at the bottom of this form that highlights the return policy and where to go for more information if you need to return anything from your recent order.

Mohair-Wool-Blend Sweater in Dusty Pink - Retail Value $89.50 (Style Plan: $69.50)

My first selection for the month is this incredible mohair-wool blend sweater. I was drawn to the color right away, and with the cold winter approaching, I knew I needed to see this sweater in person! The sweater is spun from a wool blend and then the fuzzy mohair is added to texture and warmth, which I can safely say that this is very warm. Like most wool sweaters, this one was a bit see-through so I would need to wear it with an undershirt or tank. In terms of texture, I thought this would be a bit itchy, but after wearing it I didn't get that uncomfortable itchy feeling that some sweaters tend to have. Instead, this was so soft and cozy, perfect to pair with jeans and boots on a cold day. From the color to the overall feel, I would have to say that this sweater was perfect for me!

Classic Fluid Blouse in True Black - Retail Value $69.50 (Style Plan: $54.50)

Give me all of the oversized, black, button-down blouses you have! I absolutely loved the fit of this blouse and the overall oversized look. For me, this takes your basic black shirt to a whole new level with the longer length and oversized cuff. The fabric was so soft yet you still have that structured look that made me feel sophisticated yet comfortable. I could see myself wearing this all the time with jeans and boots or paired with a wide leg trouser for a more menswear-inspired outfit. This piece could quickly become a closet staple for me and the quality was top notch!

Verdict: This was my first experience with Frank And Oak Style Plan and it really was a unique first round! While I didn't use my style recommendations, I absolutely loved both of the styles that I received. Being able to browse their catalog and not just get what they initially recommend is a huge plus for me. Even though Frank And Oak has a more minimalistic style that really matches what I like to wear daily, I still enjoy the process of browsing and select products on my own if I find something outside of their recommendations. The quality was incredible and the sizing matched me perfectly. Each piece was something that I know I would get a ton of wear out of and that it will last! I am excited to continue to see what Frank And Oak Style Plan has to offer.

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? Each box is customized based on your style plan. If you sign up today your order will ship within a few days.

Great review, and the clothing looks great on you. However, the final value breakdown is misleading. I signed up thinking the monthly price covered the two pieces of clothing. However, there is a monthly fee of $54 ($39 with coupon). That fee goes to cover the cost of the clothing you pick, and you pay any additional cost for each piece ($69.50 for the sweater and $54.50 for the top minus your already paid $54, not the $30.27 or $23.73 stated in the value breakdown section). I didn’t realize until after I signed up and paid, so I’m a bit disappointed.

Hi,
I did the same thing, signing up thinking you got “credits” as in the April review and they charge you the difference up front. I also thought the pricing included 25% off but it is UP TO 25% off. They were only offering 20% off my selections. They also had a coupon tonight, Rudolph25, which allowed 25% off all regular priced items but never got a chance to see the coupon box as I think it was for non-style box customers. I sent a note to customer service asking them to honor the 25%. I’m not sure I will be keeping this subscription box.

Hi Jen! Thanks so much for your post, that is a great callout! I know the monthly cost turns into credits, but you are right, the cost comes in for both the box and if you decide to keep the clothes. I will be sure to make updates based on that, it is confusing the way it is broken down now.
