Enchanted Crystal: Crystal of the Month Review December 2017

Note from Adam of Enchanted Crystal

First, you'll see the note from Adam from Enchanted Crystal explaining this month's package!

Info card for Chlorite Lily Pad Lemurian Seed Quartz

Next, there's an info sheet all about the featured Crystal of the Month! December is the Chlorite Lily Pad Lemurian Seed Quartz!

Chlorite Lily Pad Lemurian Seed Quartz

Chlorite Lily Pad Lemurian Seed Quartz

The featured crystal this month is a Lemurian Seed Quartz that has very rare formations inside of it called "Chlorite Lily Pads". If you look closely, you'll see the "lily pads" in the form of small green dots that are not usually found in nature. The info card tells me that they are even less likely to be found forever frozen inside of a quartz-like they are here!

This Lemurian Seed Quartz can be identified by the horizontal lines that can be seen on the surface, which were caused by a shift in the environment while it was growing.

Although they don't talk about crystals powers in the info card, I looked it up online to find that this quartz is used to help someone become more balanced and whole when faced with a feeling of disjointedness or detachment with one's self. It seems that once again, a crystal has been presented to me when I need it most, as I have been feeling very much lost in the shuffle of my own life if that makes sense.

This seems like a really great way to utilize the power of this crystal (as found on Crystal Vaults):

In divination wands are used in specialized efforts where great precision is needed.  Lemurian Seed Crystals are quite effective in divination efforts when the goal is to determine a yes or no answer to specific questions related to relationships.

To use one, bury the crystal in a shallow bowl filled with white sand. Place the bowl in contact with the Earth.  Over the course of several hours randomly rotate the bowl without thought. With a compass mark the location of North and South.  Carefully brush away the top layer of sand until the Lemurian Seed crystal is visible.  If it points towards the North, the crystal is indicating that the relationship is aligned with the natural earth and indicates a  positive response to the question.  If it points to the South, the response is negative.  If the wand points primarily East or West, the answer is unclear.

Bag full of Madagascar Quartz, Green Jasper, Orb Agate, and Amethyst Chips

The other crystals included come in a little resealable baggy together and are labeled. At first, I wasn't sure which was which, but based on my super limited knowledge was able to decipher them for each other just by their names since they were all different enough.

Madagascar Quartz

Madagascar Quartz

The specimen of Madagascar Quartz that I received is partially very raw and contains some cloudy areas as well as touches of a reddish-brown color. Looking online, it looks like this a type of clear quartz that hails from Madagascar which is one of the most common areas to find this type. Using a crystal like this is said to assist the higher chakras to emanate white light and aids your connection with spirit.

Green Jasper

Green Jasper

Next are some of my favorites included this month. I love that even within the three green jasper stones I received, there is a vast difference in color. One is very pale and milky, another has flecks of orange and red, and the other is much darker with chunks of lighter green hues. This green opaque quartz helps ward off negative energy, bring reassurance, and restore an inner calm.

Orb Agate

Orb Agate

Look at this beautiful stone! I just love its soft grey and white coloring and circular markings! The term "agate" is usually given to stones with stripes or "eyes", like the one I received. It makes sense that this stone is used to bring calm and peace (especially in the face of fear) to the bearer because that's exactly how I feel as soon as I look into it.

Amethyst Chips

Amethyst Chips

These beautiful purple quartz chips, known as amethyst came to me in nine various sizes this month. They each have a different purple gradation due to their own personal journey to their current form. They also have calming and balancing properties (like some of the other crystals) and can be utilized to eliminate impatience. I needed these earlier while I was waiting on holiday packages to arrive! 😉

Verdict: For a mere $16.00, Enchanted Crystal sent me five different stone and crystal types for me to add to my growing collection. They must put thought into what they ship each month because a lot of the powers these stones harness were much-needed for me right now. Even though the featured crystal was not as large as the one I received last month, it seems like it is more rare with its lily pad dots. I'm happy that they also send multiples of the other crystals and stones so that I can share them with my girlfriends who also collect.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but sign up today to receive January.

The orb agate is gorgeous – I immediately thought of the Resurrection Stone that saved Harry Potter from death.
