EarFleek Young At Heart December 2017 Review

info card for earfleek, an earring subscription

Here’s the info card for this pack.

Turquoise-Blue Insect Earrings

At first, I thought these were butterflies, but they’re actually shaped a bit more like fireflies or even little blue bees. Each one is barely the size of a fingernail, so this pair makes for just the slightest bit of sparkle on each lobe. There’s an itty bitty rhinestone in the center of each bug, too. While I’m bummed that the enamel on each earring is kind of sloppily dropped on to the earring (it’s overflowing in some places and not in others), that’s barely noticeable once they’re on. I don’t have a lot of blue earrings, so I’m liking this teensy touch of color.

Bonus: Set of 5 Hair Ties

This month’s pack came with a little bonus gift, too! These neon hair ties remind me of the kind of thing I had back in the 90s! they work just as well as I remember ’em. While they’re a bit bold for what I might choose for myself, I’m always looking for a hair tie. These are going to live in my desk (until I ultimately wear/lose them all)!

The Verdict: EarFleek earrings aren’t perfect, but for the price, they’re pretty darn adorable. I liked the color and the cute shapes this month. I also loved how delicate and tiny these bugs were! The bonus gift was a nice touch, too.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today?: Since stylists choose the pair for you each month, it’s hard to say that you would get these specific earrings if you ordered today. However, monthly shipments go out on the 15th of each month—if you’re curious about this subscription, sign up soon to get December’s earrings!

Coupon: Get 50% off (bringing the cost down to a mere $1.75) when you use code MSA50

Value Breakdown: There’s just one pair of earrings in each Earfleek monthly shipment, so these earrings are at least worth $1.75 (the cost of the subscription after our 50% off coupon). If you count the bonus gift as a second item, then each item is worth about $0.88 after our coupon!

  1. I subbed for this. I’ll know if they contain Nickle by the end of th day when I receive my earrings. It turns my skin Dark Green. So far I ordered on the 8th no shipping info yet. When ever I order earring from wish my ears turn green and The earring turn black.

  2. I wish they’d stop the line that “the stylists choose the pair for you”. Right. There is no customization at all, no questionnaire on your preferences, so how can they choose? Based on what? The only variable they know about you is your address. “People in Florida will get red earrings this month”? “People who live on a Street will get blue studs this month; people who live on a Road or Circle will get gold dangles”?

Please. The shipping people probably have a large box of pre-packaged, assorted earrings. They reach in, grab what they grab, and slip it into the envelope. Stylist my buttsky.

Their plus is the nice and prompt customer service – when I asked to cancel, they were professional and efficient.

    • Lol. Love your comment about the pre-styling.

    • what are you expecting for $3.50?

this reminds me of the comment a few weeks back, about how if subs sent out gold bars, someone would bitch about it being “too gold-y”

they’re dollar store earrings…you’re fooling yourself if you EVER believed that stylist line–it’s just marketing

frankly, i don’t think any of these companies pay much attention to the profile stuff–more like, “what company sent us a boatload of whatevers”, is how this goes…

      • I just don’t like lying. I am not complaining about the quality or style of the earrings; I buy my earrings at Claire’s. Being straightforward and truthful is fine with me – “For $3.50, you get Chinese-made leftovers and the luck of the draw”. That’s a fair statement. Telling an untruth is not OK. Who is the “stylist” that signs the enclosed card? The person who put your envelope into the “outgoing mail” bin.
