Lucas Bad Boys of Dry River Wyoming, Book 1 By Susan Fisher-Davis - Retail Value $6.65
This month's book is from the Bad Boy box, hence the rugged cowboy glaring at me from the cover. After reading the description, I am not positive that this book is for me. However, I am always willing to give something a go even if it might be out of my comfort zone. Our main character, Emily, wind up with the wrong husband who is going to be getting out of prison soon. She turns to the town bad boy for help but ends up falling in love. While I am not hooked on this book just yet, I am excited to continue on and hear what happens to Emily. From Amazon:

Debbie's Handmade Soap: Love Spell, 4.5 oz. - Retail Value $3.49
This handmade soap smells incredible! I placed it on a soap dish in my bathroom and the fragrance has filled my room with the sweetest scent. This particular bar of soap is made with orange, peach, cherry blossom, and white jasmine. To me, this scent screams femininity and the rich pink color makes it perfect paired in this month's box!
Swag Boutique Whipped Body Butter: Sweet Dreams - Retail Value $3.99
This whipped body butter is so smooth and a lovely lavender color! The second I put this on my hands I knew I was in for a deep hydration, so remember that a little bit goes a long way. This particular Sweet Dreams blend is made with Shea butter, aloe vera, and vitamin E. You don't get an overwhelming scent, just clean and fresh, which makes this great to use all over. I have been keeping this sample size in my diaper bag to use on my hands. With the cold weather, this is the perfect deep hydration that I need!
Swag Boutique Bath Bomb: Cocoa Kisses, 3 oz. - Retail Value $4.99
I have made it a routine to have a little 'me time' with a bath bomb bath at least once a month. That being said, I can never have too many bath bombs available so I was very excited to try this one! Cocoa kisses is made with a blended aroma of hot chocolate, melted marshmallows, plus oils and butters that are great for your skin. This bath bomb will leave you smelling chocolatey sweet and your skin feeling so nourished. While this isn't a scent that I would purchase on my own, I thought it was really fun to try this time of year!
Carven Le Parfum, 0.04 fl oz. - Retail Value $5.15
I love Carven perfume but have never bought a large bottle on my own. The great part about the sample size though is that it really will last you! This scent is so rich and potent, just one spray is all you need. The white blossoms in this blend make it for that perfect feminine scent that is timeless. I am always drawn towards scents that remind me of my Grandma, she was a fashion icon of mine, and this Carven blend is one that reminds me of her each time I wear it. This was a wonderful surprise to find in this month's Bubbles & Books!
Verdict: This was a unique box for me since it was the Bad Boy Box, and offered a monthly book that I don't think I would have ever purchased for myself. However, I like to remind myself that books are meant to take us to unique places, to live the life of someone else, and to make us imagine a crazy world that we will probably never exist in. So even if this month's book might not be exactly for me, I am enjoying reading this adventure! Plus, each of the products this month was incredible! Books and pampering time go hand in hand for me, and each product is all about unwinding and showcased more feminine scents which I love. I also enjoyed researching each small business and reading how they make their products. I always love when a box features 'new-to-me' brands and puts me out of my comfort zone a bit. Bubbles & Books is such a fun box for the book lover at heart that also enjoys a bit of pampering time, and the overall value is totally worth how much you get each month!
