Bear Edge 61106 Folding Pocketknife - Retail Value $39.99

First up this month, we get this gorgeous, fully blacked-out folding knife from Bear and Son! This pocketknife is all metal - the blade is a 440 stainless steel and the handles are aluminum. It comes with a removable pocket clip so you can have this at the ready at all times. It fits perfectly into my hand and is very lightweight. There is a nub on the blade that allows for easy one-handed opening, and the locking tab within the handle holds the blade fast and is easy to undo. I get knives from subscriptions often, but I am really impressed by this little folder!

Up next is this awesome little key safe from The Tin Mill. I’ve never really used one of these, but I popped this on my keychain and ended up using it for a pair of earplugs when I went to a couple of shows. I could also see carrying around a couple of ibuprofen or daily medicines. I laughed at the packaging suggesting carrying herb in here, but if that is your thing, I can definitely see it being handy since it’s waterproof and inconspicuous. It might be a little tricky, but you could probably roll up 1-2 bills for an emergency cash stash too.

One of the coolest items this month is this 7-in-1 pen/tool from Jac Zagoory! In this pen-shaped package, you get 7 tools: a pen, a 3in ruler, a 7cm ruler, a level, a tablet stylus, a mini phillips screwdriver and a mini flathead screwdriver. The stylus tip can be attached to either end of the pen, whichever ends up feeling more comfortable for you. This is kind of a no-brainer as an EDC item - all of these features could come in super handy in a myriad of situations.

Craighill Stealth Money Clip - Estimated Value $48 (Value based on their other designs)

Finally this month we get this black wire money clip from Craighill. The clip is very strong but still flexes fairly easily. I was able to stuff 2-3 cards and 5 folded bills in the clip without any problems. I don’t normally prefer to carry a money clip but this feels like it would make a great gift.

Verdict: This is an excellent EDC collection from Bespoke Post. The all-black theme shouts (whispers?) stealth to me and nearly all of the items will be regular use items for me. The value here is out of the park - $137.98 for the $45 price tag. Amazing box. Check out the latest selections for December if you’re thinking of subscribing - several are available!

I initially thought the handle on the knife was plastic, it has that feel. There’s good value in this box, but the clip is disappointing (and hilariously over valued). It’s simple, but not elegant and unless you have a wad of bills and a stack of cards, a couple of bucks are no match for it. It’s okay, the rest of the box more than makes up for it.

That pen is the best thing since sliced bread! I have 5 of them…in my purse, in my car, various rooms of our house. They get used every day!
