Included in the box was a discovery info card that gives a little more information about each vendor featured in the box. I loved reading about each of the companies featured before diving into each product!

Gracey's Gourmet Cookies Ginger Bites, 7.5 oz.- Retail Value $7.99

These little cookies are divine and come from the owner's own family recipe book! At first glance, I thought they were going to be crunchy, but instead, they are so soft and sweet. The ginger flavor packs a great deal of spice that is so delicious to eat this time of year. Then you get the light sprinkling of sugar on the top of each cookie that, for me, really puts this cookie over the edge into incredible! This is a great cookie to enjoy at home with coffee or to put out at your next gathering for your guests to enjoy.

Willa's Shortbread Classic Cookies - Mild, 16 oz - Retail Value $21.50

This tin of cookies reminded me of being at my Grandma's house with her traditional tins filled high with a fresh batch of cookies. While it wasn't my Grandma's cookies inside, this tin is filled with some seriously delicious shortbread cookies! Each little cookie is so crumbly yet they melt into your mouth. You get hints of sweet sugar, but what really shines here is the butter, oh the butter! Willa's Shortbread has been in business for over 30 years in Middle Tennessee, and they specialize in cooking up traditional southern recipes. I am so happy that this tin is so big because there is an endless amount of these classic shortbread cookies that are going to last me throughout the entire holiday season!

Tree Hive Maple Syrup + Honey, 8.5 oz. - Retail Value $12.00

Tree Hive started back in 2012 when a husband and wife decided that their special mix of syrup and honey needed to be bottled up and shared with the world. I am so happy that they did! Each batch is made with pure maple syrup and 100% American honey for that perfect blend of sweetness. This syrup was a huge hit in my house because it is that amazing balance of sweetness that is great to pour over pancakes, syrup, or really anything your heart desires!

My Friend Who Loves to Cook: Sunday Morning Pancake Mix, 16 oz. - Retail Value $7.00

This pancake mix comes from Nashville and has the sweetest story behind how this special mix came about. It all started when the owner, Brian, wanted to start a tradition with his family where he would make pancakes every Sunday. After years of testing to find that perfect batch, the family settled on this incredible Sunday Morning Pancake Mix that has been in business selling to happy customers since 2013! Pancakes are a huge production in my house and something I am asked to make a few times a week. I was so excited to receive this bag of mix not only because of the incredible family story, but because this blend makes incredible pancakes! They are huge, light, fluffy, and when I really pay attention they come out the perfect golden brown. You really can taste the love and dedication that has gone into this pancake mix over the years!

Plantation Peanuts A Taste of Wakefield, 12 oz - Retail Value $7.25

These peanuts are cooked and packaged in Virginia from the largest and freshest locally grown peanuts. Each batch of peanuts is slow roasted by hand and then given that light salt layer while they are still hot. These peanuts are sealed for a safe delivery and are so delicious! The amount of salt is perfect, not too much that you can't eat this by the handfuls, and the peanuts themselves are huge! You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into this tin.

Poppy Popcorn: Reindeer Crunch, 10 oz. - Retail Value $9.95

Reindeer Crunch, the perfect popcorn for kids big and small this time of year! Poppy Popcorn comes from Asheville, NC and specializes in handmade popcorn where you can find fun flavors like this one! Each kernel is covered in drizzles of chocolate, caramel, and peanuts. The perfect blend of crunchy sweetness, plus, the bag is big enough to share with the whole family. Southern Firefly Candle Co. Sugar Cane Cookie - Retail Value $12.00

I have this candle burning as we speak, and let me tell you, the scent is incredible! It honestly smells like I have sugar cookies baking in the oven, which I am really happy about since I am not the biggest baker out there. This sugar cane cookie candle is created with vanilla and brown sugar, making it that perfectly sweet scent that is great to fill your home this time of year. Southern Firefly Candle Co. is a family owned business that makes candles with all-natural soy wax, double cotton wicks, and no dyes or additives which make the scent stronger and the burn last longer.

Eat Drink & Be Merry Tea Towel - Retail Value $10.00

Our final product for the month is this lovely Batch tea towel. I wasn't able to find this festive print in their shop, but they do have other prints that are just as cute! The towel itself is huge, perfect to have sitting out for a party or to use for drying dishes after your holiday dinner. The gold 'Eat Drink and be Merry' print is perfect to have around the house during the holidays and was the perfect addition to this lovely box!

Verdict: Batch always has a way of making me feel warm and cozy, I'm not sure how they do it! This box is always so special, from the beautiful box to the unique products that I know I am going to use. Another important part of Batch is that they are featuring brands and their products that I wouldn't normally find in my area. Many of these products I would purchase again or recommend to friends, which is really where the value of this box comes in. The unique curation and overall experience is always a win for me. Plus, the calculated value this month came in at $87.69 which is just shy of the $99 cost. I feel like this month's Batch box got me excited and ready for the upcoming holiday season and everything that comes with it!

Ridiculous. Who would buy a a 1lb tin of cookies for nearly $25.00? Hahahaha. You can go to Whole Foods or a local artisan market and get a better value. Laughable review.

This! The RV is $21.50 for the cookie tin, and many places offer free shipping this time of year. They’re charging more then retail price on everything included. $99, I would expect a huge box of different products. I’d feel completely ripped off if a sub didn’t meet the cost paid.

Why do people come to reviews like this and say they can get things “like” it at discount stores? Yes, everything is cheaper somewhere. I can buy syrup, cookies and a dish towel at the dollar store for a dollar and support companies paying children five cents a day for their labor. You can literally buy anything somewhere else for cheaper.

I have noticed that there seems to be two categories of shoppers when it comes to sub boxes. One group falls into curation and the other falls into value. This box is nicely curated and supports American business. This is great for the group that appreciates finely curated boxes. I consider myself to fall into the value shopper category. Obviously this box is well out of comparison with dollar store products, but there are nicer discount home good stores that provide items of equal comp. at a better value.

Exactly! I mean it’s all nice stuff and local. But $99 is way too much.

Holy crap! $99. for that?? I get the premise for this sub but I could go to any TJ Maxx etc and buy the same kind of stuff for so much less.

Thanks for your post! This box really is more about supporting small businesses and bringing support to each new brand.

But both of those things don’t require a company to charge more for something???
