Amazon Prime Surprise Sweets Holiday Flavor Fun Box Review
Lots of substantial goodies in this box! Let’s talk about ’em:
This box comes with an insert that overviews each sweet treat and their respective brands.
Country Fresh Fudge Chocolate Cheesecake Fudge, 4 oz – Buy 1 pound for $16.95
Nothing says special occasion like fudge. This indulgent treat always reminds me of cozy holiday gatherings with family. With this box, you receive 4 oz of goodness. The chocolate cheesecake flavor is really wonderfully rich, and, as you’d expect with any fudge, incredibly sweet. It’s a bit cloying for my taste, but a small piece is nice after dinner.
Grey Ghost Chocolate Mint Cookies, 1.4 oz (2) – Buy a 4 oz can for $4.99
One of my favorite items in the box! These cookies are delightfully soft and chewy with a sugar-coated exterior. The sugar granules give these cookies a bit of texture, which is nice! More than anything, I loved the chocolate mint flavor of these! It’s intense without being overwhelmingly minty.
Kukuruza Gingerbread Cookie Popcorn, 3.3 oz – Retail Value $4.95
I’ve only recently fully embraced the joy of caramel popcorn. This gingerbread variety takes my obsession to another level. The molasses-spiced caramel coats each extra-puffy kernel. The popcorn is finished with a drizzle of white chocolate and small chunks of fresh baked ginger molasses cookies. Super decadent and, honestly, addictive. The gingerbread flavor really comes through, so this is awesome if you’re a big fan of these classic holiday cookies (or just prefer something that’s not as sweet as, say… fudge).
Snappers Dark Chocolate Caramel Brownie Pretzel, 6 oz – Buy a 24 oz bag for $19.61
A nice mix of sweet and salty, these dessert-y snacks are great for grabbing on-the-go. Each morsel is a little more than bite-sized. They’re composed if a creamy caramel fudge piece surrounded by pretzel bits and coated in dark chocolate. Truly the ideal treat for a sweet-meets-salty lover like myself!
Mommas Chocolate Chip with Pecan Cookies, 1.75 oz – Buy a 2 pack for $11.99
These tiny, crispy cookies are really lovely. The addition of pecan pieces really adds to the crisp-factor, too! They have a really nice buttery taste to them and pair perfectly with a cold glass of milk. Another wonderful take-with-you treat.
Theo Hazelnut Crunch Bar, 1.9 oz – Retail Value $2.99
The packaging alone makes this organic chocolate bar feel festive, fancy, and just SPECIAL! This organic 45% milk chocolate contains hazelnut brittle and a pinch of Himalayan sea salt, so it really it unique. I really enjoyed the toothsome texture that the nuts provide.
Craft Chocolate Bars Peppermint Bark White + Dark Chocolate, 3.5 oz – Retail Value $4.95
Another one of my favorites from this box, this peppermint bark is like, the definition of holiday cheer. The white chocolate swirls and included with peppermint flavor and the candy cane coating creates a chewy crunch. If you love mint (as I clearly do, based on my stand-outs from this box), you’ll really enjoy this bar.
Verdict: I honestly have no complaints about Amazon’s Prime Surprise Sweets, Holiday Flavor Fun Box. Everything was stellar! For $27.00 including free Prime shipping, I received 7 items, with an average cost of $3.86. The box cost is worth trying out some delicious seasonal sweets. Get festive with them on your own or share some of the larger packages (like the Snappers or Kukuruza Popcorn) with friends. The Theo Bar and Country Fresh Fudge would even make nice gifts!
