Anyone else still waiting? My UPS info still has so movement since November 27th. I have emailed but just received a generic response. I emailed again today. Maybe I will call later next week. I bought 4 boxes.

I ordered 2 past play! boxes on Nov. 21. Tracking said fulfilled and awaiting shipment on the 24th. Nothing since. I have been emailing back and forth with CS. Terrible automated email responses, btw. Finally, someone actually looked up my account. I was told those items were no longer in stock and could not be fulfilled. Yes, even though my tracking said they had been fulfilled already! I was apologized to and received a refund. All via email CS. No compensation for my troubles (points perhaps). This was my first Sephora online purchase. Talk about horrible!

Same. Placed 2 orders on 11-21 for 3 boxes each and receive tracking for both orders on 11-22 but tracking shows they never arrived to UPS. After 2 weeks I reached out asking where they were since I have Flash shipping and they should have arrived within 2 days. They said 3 of them were out of stock and credited back for those and said they’d look into it. A week and a half later and I reached out again and just asked to be credited for the other 3 and they responded saying I need to call their customer service line which I had to wait for over 15 minutes on hold just to get the rest of my order refunded. This was very poorly handled by Sephora.

Has anyone that ordered the past Play bags received theirs yet? I ordered mine on November 21st and it still hasn’t shipped. I’ve received a couple of emails saying the processing is delayed and I should have tracking in 2-3 business days. That last email was 6 business days ago. I’ve called about it twice and no one knows why it’s taking so long.

My scenario is exactly like yours. Ordered on Nov 21st, last email recd was on Nov 24th from UPS saying the shipment was delayed. I spoke with Cust Service twice and this last rep told me that she was going to submit a form to their Solutions Team and that someone would reach out to me within 2 days to update me on the status. She said that they were having some issues with this distribution center. My UPS account shows the distribution center as Sephora SDC 3 in Olive Branch MS.

So I noticed something with play and I wanted to know if it was just me or if y’all have seen the change too. The best thing about play to me is that I can get a 50 beauty insider points card every month and for about a week and a half or so I could use both together so I could get 100 bonus points every purchase that’s why I have so many and spend so many points.
For example: The September card expired on October 31st and the October card expired on November 30th but I was able to use both on October 31st to get 100 bonus points with my cheap $8 multiple use Sephora mask purchase. I’ve been doing this for almost a year now and have been loving it ever since. What I don’t understand is when I made another $8 purchase just a few days ago on the 29th of November with my October card that didn’t expire until November 30th and my November card that doesn’t expire until the 31st of December I only received 50 points total and both were scanned like always. So I’m very disappointed and was wondering if anyone else had this new problem? 😱 I can still keep reusing my card like always but now I won’t want to as much because the bonus won’t be as good. I know it says on the back of the card that if you use multiple cards that you will only get 50 bonus points and that true if it’s the same month like 2 October cards, 2 November cards, etc. It has to be 2 different months. I’ve always gotten 100 points for so long, I wonder why the sudden change? 😭😬😤

You can call customer service and ask. No one has ever let me use two at the same time. I have been able to get it redeemed online buy giving a customer service rep my order number and the month of the pass i wanted to redeem

I asked and a rep told me that since they are expired a store probably wont honor them but you can email customer service your order number and explain about that months card and they should be able to add it into your order.

So I snagged 2 bags (can’t wait to try Drunk Elie!) and a couple of other things that added up to $50 for free shipping. Then added the Day/Night bag (free with over $45) and then 3 samples. So… in my mind it’s like getting a 24+ day advent calendar but I get to pick out what I wanted. Also, I get Sephora points. Good fun!

I LOVE the Drunk Elephant moisturizer. I got it in my Allure box in September (and somehow managed to get a 2nd box) and have used it every night since. The full size is a little pricey, but I am definitely going to get it one of these days.

Drunk Elephants products are the best and if you don’t like one of them, it is so easy to trade, as they are very popular! Don’t quote me on this, but I think they’re organic. I know they’re really good about contributing to the elaphants org in Africa! On the note of special Play! Boxes (this is about the one for rouge, VIB, and lastly, little folk like me that just can’t seem to get up to the mark of rouge etc….Anyways, the mixup they had on the special edition remedy. I called as I got edition 11 instead of edition 1 and they sent me a email saying they would send me the 2 products-that were not in addition 1. I called and spoke to a manager and she said she documented my Sephora files that I would get a full box (Corporate had some) and the 2 items and a full $20.00 refund and points ( I don’t remember at the moment how many points as it was at the same time I got the benefit gimme brow gel in my regular September box that was recalled by Benefit not Sephora. So, anyways if any of you were as unlucky as I was to have all this happen. Sephora will take care of you! Just ask to speak to a manager and I was real nice just a little unhappy I got the wrong box! The only thing I didn’t get were the 2 additional products as promised by corporate and the manager at the call center. Would you proceed with that as they left a message and emailed me asking if I was happy with the situation! I just can’t get through with this Black Friday sale and I’m thinking if just calling it a wash and dry my hands and forget it (if that’s the correct quote Lol) This beauty thing is driving me bonkers and the horrible thing is I am now addicted to it and can’t get out of the play box like I’ve wanted to for months! So sorry for such a long post Liz and my fellow MSA’rs🙂

This is nice! I love the trial sizes, and some items cost almost the $10 of the bag.
I wanted to try the Christophe Robin scrub with sea salt but didn’t get it in my bag. The store trial sample is too small and the jar for $50 is too much. . . The $10 can pay for just that!
I also picked up another of one of my favorites.

Does anyone know how their black friday sale work?? I’ve heard they don’t release deals all at once, so if you have 5/6 deals you want and they put them out at random tes..does that mean we also pay 5/6 different shipping for the too??

I’ve never did a black friday at sephora or anywhere really and money is tight, so I am trying to have an idea of what to expect.

Honestly, Sephora is a hot mess for Black Friday. They never say when the deals go live and they do different things each year. They sometimes also add things they did not advertise. I’d say stay close to the site after 11pm est with your list of items, make sure payment and shipping info is already set up beforehand and be ready to shop and check out quickly.

Do you have to pay shipping on these boxes?

Yes, but I believe after a certain amount shipping is free. It does say when you checkout that due to high order volume standard ground shipping is being delayed, but 2 day and flash shipping isn’t affected. I payed the $10 a few months ago for flash shipping (free shipping on anything all year) and it’s been super nice! I can just order a $4 face mask, pay no shipping, and it’s here in 2 days. Definitely worth it since you’ll end up paying more in shipping if you order things more than twice a year from them.

I am so sorry…..I didn’t mean to get anything started. …I am not technical at all, and had no clue about flash shipping. When I seen about the black friday sales and how people said they are not released all at once, I thought “how in the world can someone afford to not only sit around all day every half hour, hour and then they release a few at a time, and you can’t just leave it in your cart and check out at the end of the day because most, if not all would be sold out by that time. But with flash shipping, it makes sense. I ordered a bag from here and then signed up for it now to be ready.

I’m on a tight budget and want to get my friends a few nice things from there, and with that sale I should be able too, and I won’t have to worry paying outrageous shipping, because I would not be able to afford buy them nice gifts and shipping every other deal….so I THANK YOU Allison, I appreciate your kind help.

Flash shipping is definitely great, before the holidays that is…although the site says flash shipping will not be affected in the shipping delays it definitely is, my orders were supposed to arrive by today but they haven’t even shipped yet:/ just a heads up in case anyone needs something soon!
