Each box comes with a fold-out card detailing the items included:
You’ll also receive a $5 off coupon, which is good for beauty purchases in-store and online. (This month it’s a $10 coupon!)
And just like Ipsy, with each box you’ll receive a new makeup bag:
This one has a fuzzy texture, gold-colored hardware, and a black nylon lining:
Now, on to the items!
MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance in Radiant Yellow – 6 ml Value $5.04
MAC Primers can be a bit overdone in subscription boxes, but this one is a welcome change! It’s designed for oily/combination skin, and it’s silicone-free! (The radiant yellow shade gives the subtlest glow, too.)
Lancome CILS Booster XL Lash Primer – .07 ml Value $12.75
This is half the size of the full-size version! And this is a fabulous lash primer. It lengthens and separates lashes to make your mascara look even better.
Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Mascara – .1 oz Value $8
I’ve received this sample many times in subscription boxes over the years, and I’m always happy to receive more – it is a great formula! Good volume, length, and lash separation – no complaints here! (This is my backup mascara to my all-time favorite tarte Lights Camera Lashes.)
(Although, I would have loved if they paired the Lancome lash primer with a Lancome mascara!)
tarte tarteist Lip Paint in Bestie – 1 ml Value $3.33
The formula is really lightweight, dries quickly, and it is mostly smudge proof immediately. It has a matte finish, and the pigment is fab, too. Here it is swatched:
The cool peachy-brown color dries a little darker than the shade in the tube, so I’m glad I got to try this color – I wouldn’t have picked it out based on the tube color.
BeautyBlender Blotterazzi Pro – Value $10
I love the original beauty blender tool for applying foundation, but this Blotterazzi pro just doesn’t come close to its awesomeness. It’s designed with the same Beauty Blender material to absorb oil as an alternative to oil blotting sheets. (You can clean and reuse it, too.)
I like the idea, but it just doesn’t absorb oil as well as oil blotting sheets do for me.
Chanel Gabriel – 1.5 ml $3.15
Each Macy’s Beauty Box includes a perfume sample as the sixth item. This is a classic floral scent with notes of Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Grasse Tuberose, and Ylang-Ylang.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $42.27 (not counting the makeup bag.) I think that’s a great value for a $15 beauty box, especially since we got a $10 Macy’s coupon this month! The MAC, Benefit, Lancome, and tarte items are all wins for me, too.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Currently, Macy’s is in waitlist mode.
Coupon – None available for this subscription.
