Since this is my first brush review and I don’t use too many, I was happy to see that there’s always a “how-to” video showing you how you can use each brush! Phew!

Let’s get to those brushes!

MorpheMe E41 brush

Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush – Retail Value $23

Ok! powder brushes I know! This big ol’ round brush is super full and incredibly soft! I feel like one swoop of this can cover a third of my face.

After applying my foundation, I set it with a powder (usually that matches my skin tone, but I also like a translucent powder). This brush got the job done with fewer strokes than my current puny powder brush. I also really like the grey metal hardware on this. It’s sort of like a polished gunmetal. It has a great weight to it overall.

Morphe E28 Round Blender Brush – Retail Value $7

The next brush is another semi-familiar shape. I don’t use much eyeshadow, mainly because I haven’t made the time to master it, but this substantial rounded one is perfect for making sure I don’t pack it on too heavy and allows me to blend darker lid colors up to lighter brow bone shades with ease.

This rounded lil fluff brush got deep into my eye creases to make sure nothing got stuck there. This is great for ombréing your eyes out!

MorpheMe E19 brush

Morphe E19 Pointed Lip Brush – Retail Value $5

Oooh- I’m actually super excited about this one because I love lipstick, but strangely enough, do not own ANY lip brushes. For some reason, I have decided to struggle with getting a precise edge on my pout by using whatever applicator the lippie comes with.

I decided to try this out on a really pigmented bright cream lipstick. I have trouble with the deep colors because mistakes are more obvious, especially when they stain. This brush opened up a whole new world of control for me. I could actually see what I was doing! I could more easily build on the color too. Using this left me with a more definitive edge for my lip which makes me really happy!

Bonus: This brush can also be used as a detailed eye brush, like how Jose uses it in the video.

Verdict: MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club hooked me up with three quality and really useful brushes this month! For $19.99 (with free US shipping), I got $35 worth of makeup brushes that are sure to really up my game. There are so many exciting things for me to look at whenever I’m at a beauty store that I often forget about the tools that could really elevate all of those products. MorpheMe pushes me to utilize new tools by sending me different brushes each month. Pretty cool!

  1. I re-subscribed and got waitlisted. 🙁 Kinda had my heart set on that giant powder brush.
