What inspired you to start your own subscription box?
"As a bilingual educator, I highly believe in the power of bilingualism to change the world through its ability to transform the way we understand ourselves and others. As a teacher, I know that many families are very interested and passionate in supporting their children in learning another language but are unsure about how to do so. I was inspired to create Bilingual Box to provide high quality educational materials and detailed activities to support families in this mission to develop their child's bilingualism and multicultural awareness and help make the world a better place. "
What is your best day as a small subscription box business owner?
"The best moments for me as a small business owner have occurred in small moments in the many communities that I am now a part of. For example, daily on my social media accounts, I am having the opportunity to build relationships with my followers through likes, comments, and personal messages, and I am enjoying becoming a part of their lives and them of mine. Also in the various support groups for small business owners that I have joined, I highly appreciate the advice, discussions, and celebrations that we are all sharing. My small business is connecting me to people with different experiences, perspectives, and locations, and being a part of these communities has been the most rewarding moment for me. "
