Just got the Beauty Thrills box from Black Friday deal, no tracking/notification–mine was also the May 2017 box.
Beware–the Babo sunscreen was expired–haven’t checked the whole box yet.
Customer service was very nice about it–sent a substitute product and apologized for the whole kerfuffle .

I checked, and both of mine (from two May boxes, one from last year, one from the BF deal) have expiration date of 06/2018. I’ve been using the Babo sunscreen for a while and it is great, it’s just a shame that I have to use it all up before Summer.

I just received by Thrills box and it is the May 2017 box as well. I wanted the October one because it was the only one I didn’t receive in the past, but the May box was a great box as well and I’m glad I now have duplicates of everything 🙂

Just received my beauty thrills and it is the May box as well….this is the only one that I hadn’t purchased so I am very happy. It looks like everyone on the forum that has updated has received this box also.

I hope they do something like this again this year…I would definitely do it again even if I have to wait a few months to receive.

I did not get a shipping notice for the Beauty Thrills box but I did get a shipping notice the other day for the January allure box. Getting the Beauty Thrills box today was a complete surprise.

I did the November deal with the 3 boxes + an Allure/Rue lala box. It arrived today.
The box lid said allure + Rue lala.
All samples except Laritzy lip pencil in Cabernet and Cargo Champagne stick.
The samples are: Klorane shampoo, Grande Lips plumper, Eyeko liner, Josie Maran body butter, Truffle Therapy toner, St. Topez tanner, LXMI creme, Sisley rose cream, dr. Brandt needles no more, Amika dry shampoo, Dermadoctor clay mask, Jurlique night cream, stress check breathe in roller, Wander lipstick mini in Barely There, and Orlando Pita play vinegar hair mask.

I sent an email asking about the Thrills box and they replied with “This is the tracking number for your box: …”
I’m not sure if they understood my question and there’s a possibility that they gave me the tracking number for the January box. Either way, I will find out in about a week.

I am so disappointed with this better than black Friday deal. My November box was missing the hey honey and the new subscriber gift and the mascara was dried out. I still haven’t gotten my December box or the replacement items from November. And they still haven’t shipped my beauty thrills box. I had to call 3x and they don’t have any information really. Just said that the warehouse and usps lost a truck.

All right, it’s January 5th for Heaven’s sake! What is going on with the Black Friday sale? My the purchase was on my charge card in November, and paid for two entire payment cycles ago! One would think that Allure would at least extend us the courtesy of some sort of explanation, or at least give us an update indicating if or when we can expect our Thrill boxes. Is there any way that the lovely ladies that moderate this site could provide us with any assistance/information? I’m sure all of us would be so appreciative. Thank you for all that you already do for us as well.

I’ve called 3 times and all they say is “no, your past thrills box hasn’t shipped. I can’t give you any other information.” It seems like Allure really has no intention on sending out bonuses.

I’m looking forward to receiving the Beauty Thrills box, but my excitement is waning. I called before ordering on 11/27 to ask if it would be here before Christmas and was told it would be. Have called 3x since then and gotten different answers each time.

Today I was told that I will get Dec box “maybe” before Christmas and only THEN, when they have confirmed my valid shipping address will they send out Thrills box the first of the year.

The website is unusable and unhelpful. Each customer service rep says something different. I think I should have gone with the old “if it sounds too good to be true…” adage.

So I called one more time just to see if I could get an answer about shipment before Christmas and was told they really didn’t know when Thrills box would ship but definitely not before Christmas. They were kind enough to refund my money in full, and I will hopefully see the credit in the next few days.

Do you – or anyone else – know the shipping status of the “Beauty Thrills past box with a 3 month sub” offer? I never received a confirmation email when I ordered it on 11/20, using the MSA link, but my credit card was charged at that time, including shipping & tax, so I know they received my order. On December 6th, with no email “heads-up”, I received a random item box (not the regular monthly Allure box) that had no Allure information booklet with it. Inside was: Unicorn brush from November box, Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Eye Concentrate, DHC Cleansing oil, Estee Lauder mascara, Wanderlust Barely There lipstick, Doucce eye shadow in Jody. All good, I understand it’s probably random/leftover items which is fine because the Thrills box added was a such a good deal. There’s no mention of this order on my Allure account. Just wondering if anyone else has received their big Beauty Thrills freebie box yet? Anyone???

Just received a box from Allure after signing up for this, and I got in my box:

– Unicorn Brush from November’s box
– Doucce eye shadow in 22 Jody (also already received from previous month)
– Wander Beauty lipstick from July’s box
– DHC Cleansing Oil from January 2016 & x Brides box
– Estee Lauder Mascara
– Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate from x Brides box

Pretty disappointed since I thought I’d get Beauty Thrills, not a mash-up of previous boxes 🙁

Thought this would be cleared up from the incorrect email disclaimer.

I got this box Tuesday with the exact same contents, thought it was Dec box. Then today I got another box with the booklet in it and it is Dec box. So I called Customer Service to find out what was going on and they told me the non-carded box with the Unicorn Brush was November’s box, that they had run out of booklets which is why it didn’t come with one. They also confirmed that Dec’s had shipped, told them I already got it.

They then confirmed that the Beauty Thrills box is coming but has not been shipped yet. Fine with me.

I alctually like everything I got in the 2 boxes so am happy, January’s box is amazing so pretty happy with my under 50$ haul!! At least as long as I get my Thrills box, but they assured me it is on my account just no word on when it will ship

I would be disappointed too! But even though cs told you it was your beauty thrills box, I think it was your Nov box. I got my Rue La La box and the box you got. I thought the unicorn brush et al was the Nov. box. I also called cs right after ordering and was told my 3 month subscription would start in Dec, but I don’t think that’s true. I think they’re sending old contents and calling it Nov for the black friday subscribers. I’m not impressed with the Nov box (if that’s what it is), but I’m looking forward to Dec and Jan, and I liked the Rue La La box, so I’m satisfied.

I hope I get what you got in your Rue La La box–that is, if any box arrives at all! Someone who signed up for the same offer got a completely different box than you, and I’m freaking out that I’ll also get something different than what was originally offered. Their customer service reps are very hit or miss, with the bad ones being especially incompetent.

I’m glad you’re happy with your box! I haven’t received anything at all yet! I only signed up because of the specific Rue La La contents listed on their website, though, so I’ll be infuriated if it turns out to be something different. Bait and switch practices are not cool.

I got my RueLaLa box Saturday also! Thanks Rachel for doing the price breakdown. I didn’t receive a shipping notice. I did have some mystery tracking numbers show up on USPS and was able to determine that it was something from Allure.

Just checked my card account and the charge was refunded back yesterday.. This company can’t get it together… Some months i didn’t get charged and some i do.. Never any confirmation emails or shopping emails either.. Might just take this as ill keep my $50 and carry on to something else

Yes, if you are already a subscriber it flags the order as a duplicate account and cancels it. I called and explained, less than 5 minutes later he had canceled my original subscription, and to go back to the holiday bundle and repurchase it. I did with no problems, was fast and simple.

I think it’s individual. If you go look at the reviews the items are listed. Then pick which one you like or will use the most items on. Value is in what you will use more than just a retail value for me.

BUT I just got the confirmation email and it said “thanks for your order you’ll get 3 monthly boxes plus:

It looks like my order may have been cancelled? I couldn’t find any order info in my account (despite getting confirmation email) so checked my bank. It looks like I received a deposit at the same time I ordered in the same amount (wierd.) I emailed them to ask what’s up.

I had the same thing happen when I first ordered on the first day. Sent email, 2 days later they replied and said call. I called and he said it is because I was already subscribed so reads it as a duplicate order. He cancelled my subscription, and said reorder it and should have no problems. He was extremely nice and took less than 5 minutes. I reordered and so far no charge back 🙂

Allure is a complete fraud!!! I don’t know why your site continues to endorse this company. I have been a faithful customer for years but it the past 2 years, all this company does is charge my credit card, hold on the money while earning interest without any intention of shipping the product. Think how much money this company is making holding customers’ money for MONTHS at a time without fulfilling the product. And this offer is complete false advertising. Unbelievable!!!

No, that’s not at all what I said. Are you an Allure customer? I’m primarly speaking about the beauty thrills boxes. Over the past year or so, Allure has charged my credit card and then not sent the boxes for over 6-8 weeks…all the while earning interest on my money and your money if you are a customer. Most recently I didn’t receive the box at all for over 2 months. I decided to give it one lady try because I trust this site. Then to a confirmation that what is advertised isn’t what will be received. I just wanted to warn others. I think it’s unethical to charge a credit card and not ship the product and not even be able to provide the customer a shipment date.

This was for my college student daughter. Different name, email, credit card. Only the address is the same.

I emailed them and explained she uses our address as her permanent residence and asked if they’d reinstate the order. BTW, they refunded the wrong credit card and didn’t send any notification.

I really want my December box. So if they don’t cooperate, I’ll cancel after that box ships. And I’ll ask for a refund for the blush I never received.

YES!! They cancelled my order and emailed me to call customer service!
The rep was less than helpful–kept putting me on hold to speak with a supervisor.
I was not confident that the problem would be fixed–so, I opened a new account using my other email address and my daughter’s name–problem solved!
I intend to cancel my original sub.
The rep stated that there is a glitch in their system, which resulted in current subscribers having their orders cancelled. Supposedly, they are “working” on it. But due to the Boxy fiasco, I was not sure that it would be fixed before they ran out of the Beauty Thrills or Rue La La boxes.

Update–just got off the phone with Allure customer service.
Was informed that the November box is still in the warehouse and that Allure has not placed the orders for the Beauty Thrills boxes yet!
I’m extremely upset–parts of the Thrills box was a Christmas gift–now, I have to spend extra money to replace it.
After my sub runs out, I will not renew.

So funny story….. my bank put my card on hold. It seems that all this beauty box buying looked suspicious to them. And the CS told me to keep trying that maybe the system was down. And every time I tried it sent a hold to my bank account. So they thought it was fraud….. it went through now….. 😜

I got a very helpful rep. Was told a glitch in the system and would have gotten two Nov. boxes. She reordered so my first box would start with the Dec. box. I’ve been with Allure for quite some time and always have good luck with customer service.

UPDATE: So I had originally emailed Allure customer service yesterday about the information in the purchase confirmation email about the $105 beauty bundle and before Liz was able to clarify that it was outdated and we’ll indeed get what we order.

In my email response back, the CSR stated nope, I’d have to order each box (Allure Beauty Box and the Beauty Thrills box) separately. Uh…it sounded like she had no idea about the MSA promotion, even though I was clear and specific in detailing it. So I called the number that showed up on the confirmation website page for this deal ending in 8085. You bet I screen shot that sucker. Nope, not the right number to call, that goes to the CS for Conde Nast publishing, even though no magazines were ordered.

So I then call the number in the confirmation email ending in 1603 and yup, that’s the one. I come to find out my order was cancelled! Even though I cancelled my Allure Beauty Box subscription and received my last box in August 2016, they still had me in their system as “active” and auto cancelled me for what looked like a duplicate order. The CSR then had a supervisor take me out of their system and put the order back in. She stated my first box would start with December. We’ll see.

In case any of you ladies were previous subscribers, even if you previously cancelled online, you might still be ‘active’ and your order may have gotten cancelled like mine did. Might be worth calling and double checking.

I went ahead and ordered using my daughter’s name and an alternate e-mail address–not taking any chances!
I will cancel my current Allure subscription– that way, no “dupes”!

I emailed Allure, I’m currently subscribed. They said I would have to cancel my current subscription then order on December the 1st and I would get no repeats. I inquired about the free Thrills box. Hope that it helps someone

Thank you MSA, I got the deal with beauty thrills because why not? I’d probably have sprung for the Allure box at some point in the next couple of months so might as well get the bonus now. I’ve gone in and out with Allure a couple times and have not had any of the customer service problems others have had, knock on wood.
