Drop Around x Classiky Paper Dot Stickers - Value $6.64 USD (at current exchange rate)

At first, I thought this was confetti, but it's actually a nice vellum envelope of differently sized dot stickers that look to be made of assorted recycled paper. Each sticker has its own backing which is normally a pain to peel off, but these thankfully have a slit in the middle to easily peel away and stick!

Craft Log x Classiky Text Washi Tape Set - Value $5.99

These three rolls of washi tape are quite hefty! They are a bit thinner than the average tape at less than a half an inch wide, but you seem to get quite a large roll. Each of the three colors (blue, rust, and khaki) has a sort of newspaper motif to them that are slightly different and random.

Hightide Penco Academica File Folder - Value $2.31 USD (at current exchange rate)

These plastic divided file folders must be big in Japan because I already own several (normally with sanrio or san-x characters on them). This particular one is smaller than the ones I have though, at 8 5/8" x 6 1/4". I simply adore the composition book style of this one. It's divided into three sections that are aptly labeled "First Priority", Second Priority", and "Third Priority" to keep you organized! The back even has conversion tables on it in the event your smartphone isn't handy. I could see using this to organize receipts or notes.

Hightide Nähe Pen Pouch - Value $4.88 USD (at current exchange rate)

How sleek and clean is this pen pouch? At almost eight inches across, this is the perfect size to tote around some of your most coveted pens, pencils, and erasers. It has a metal snap in the center to keep it closed, and a clear window between the grey plastic so you can view your treasures. Inside the pouch are two clear pockets for stowing away stickers. paper clips, or stamps! There is also a large pocket on the back for other miscellaneous flat items.

Mind Wave Inc Photo Life Stickers - Value $5? (taking a guess since I can't find these anywhere online)

Getting 48 stickers in one pack is surely reason to celebrate! These have a travel theme that is separated into two different types: frame seals and label seals. The frame seals go at the corners of photos and have cityscapes, cameras, passport stamps, and airplanes. The label seals feature airline tickets, cars, suitcases, and passport stamps with space to write on. You get six of each of the eight total designs. These would be perfect for scrapbooking and journaling your adventures!

Nishi Shuku "Forest" Postcard Set - Value $10.18 USD (at current exchange rate)

Wow- these illustrations are so pretty! I've actually received some stickers from this artist in other sub boxes, so now I can say I am familiar. There are several of these postcard sets available, and this one is "forest". There are five total designs in this set of 10, so you get two of each. I think the mountains and the trees are my favorites.

Uniball Signo DX Pens in Khaki and Dark Grey - Total Value $5.70 ($2.85/ea)

Ahhhh, Uni-ball! I love you so. I am already familiar with the Signo, but I'm not sure I have met the DX version. These are two new colors, khaki and dark grey. Grey is my absolute favorite color since it's neutral and sad, so I was pleased to receive it. The khaki is unique as well, so it's a welcomed addition. The point size of these pens is .38mm, which is a sweet spot for me. Most of mine are either .4 or .5, and I have some as small as .25 (when I'm feeling super scratchy). Of course, so much of how these write depends on the paper, but just on basic notebook paper, these babies are smooth, yet precise.

Ro-Biki Note Notebook in Skyscraper - Value $8.80? (linked to similar)

This tall skinny unlined notebook is 60 pages of recycled paper between a waxed paper cover and bound with thread. The cover features a city scene full of skyscrapers against an orange-ish brown background.

Verdict: My first The Stationery Selection delivery was really impressive! I am always overjoyed to discover a new stationery box (especially when it comes from Japan), and this one did not disappoint! It was filled with many different types of items, from pens to notebooks to stickers to postcards. I really love the pen pouch and file folder especially and found a good mix of new and familiar brands. After totaling up what I could find online, the retail of this comes to just about $50, which is almost exactly what you'd pay if you were charged $13 for shipping to the US.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you would receive the November box as your first.

I wish this were slightly more affordable. Even though the value is there, it’s would take up quite a bit of my sub box budget. I do like it though!
