I bought my calendar last year on sale. It’s patiently waiting for me. I would never dream of paying full price for any of these calendars. Also, I agree with others noticing the price increase for advent calendars – while $30-50 used to be the norm, now it’s $100-300.

I like the $55 one and ordered it, but I also had a little extra PayPal credit that cut the price in half. I am kind of over the repetitive makeup in holiday sets. I don’t want or need more bright lip products that are “festive,” and I know I will use or at least try everything all of the bed/bath stuff while traveling. I’m glad they did a mostly-body calendar.

FYI The Body Shop is having a sale on their website for 40-50% off a lot of stuff with free shipping at no minimum purchase. I don’t think it’s everything, but a decent amount!

The advent calendars aren’t part of the sale currently :-/.

Dang, I can’t imagine spending more than $50 for a calendar. However, I caved and bought the $55 one just to see if it’s worth the price.

I really appreciate their three different price points on these – if you want to pay more for luxe items you can, or if you just want a more inexpensive treat you can get the cheaper one.

Jillian

Last year these went on sale because no one was buying them. Except me. And they would not refund me the difference. FYI to all who are interested.

Is it just me, or are Advent Calendars in general going up in price (or not worth their value)? In the past, it used to be a reasonable price to get an assortment of (typically) non-full size items.

Ann

Yes! I’m just gobsmacked with these prices. I try to spread cheer with gifts and baked goods and other things so I had hoped to maybe pick up a little fun treat for myself, but so far I haven’t found anything reasonably priced that is worth it. These prices are insane. I just want a little fun. Time to start making my own advent calendar and just have my boyfriend put the surprises in so I don’t know what I am getting on any given day.

Sammee

Definitely not just you. I was scrolling through this page thinking the exact same thing. I guess they think people are willing to pay a premium for a little extra holiday spirit 🙂

Renee

I kind-of didn’t think these were worth the $ last year, so I won’t be buying unless they have a fantastic sale on them.

Lindsey

Is it just me, or are these WAY overpriced? For $200 I could get a HUGE stockpile of products from the Body Shop.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

And you would get exactly what you want, as well.

Reply ButtonReply

Renee

not just you, I think they are overpriced too!

Anya
