NatureBox Membership Box October 2017 - 0001

NatureBox
4.2 overall rating
34 Ratings | 31 Reviews

NatureBox has updated their subscription model. NatureBox is now a members-only snack buying service - the membership cost is free for your first month then you are charged $50 for the year. You will also receive a $50 credit to spend on snacks. You can cancel your membership at any time. You may buy as many snacks as you like each month - the $50 is simply for access to purchase the snacks. If you do not use the $50 in during the month, it will roll over to the new month.

If you were on a recurring subscription plan, those deliveries will continue - which also grants us a free membership to the new Club - so we can buy additional snacks. NatureBox is no longer open to new subscriptions, though, only to the new NatureBox Club membership.

In this box I received a gift card to NakedWines.com worth $100, I will for sure be using this!

NatureBox Membership Box October 2017 - 0006

Mocha Almond Bar, 1.4 0z (Buy a pack of 3 for $5.49/Member Price $3.49)

This bar is packed full of chocolate and coffee, probably my two favorite things in the world! To-go bars like this are a necessity now that I am a busy Mom so the fact that I received three of these was kind of amazing! They are packed full of energy-rich nuts that makes a wonderful crunch. Overall though, the hard chocolate bottom and drizzle of coffee make this bar so chewy, it just melts in your mouth!

Pumpkin Seed, Raisin, & Spice Oatmeal, 1.59 oz (Buy a pack of 3 for $5.99/Member Price $4.99)

Another item that is perfect for a busy Mom, and I got three of them! These little to-go oatmeal cups come in the perfect serving size, making it great for a quick meal on the run. All you have to do is add boiling water, put the lid on, let it sit for four minutes, then enjoy! This oatmeal was so hearty and gave me the energy I need each morning. Packed full of pumpkin seeds that provide a nice layer to the oatmeal. The raisins add a rich sweetness that compliments so well with the spices. The oats, if you can tell in the photo, are a bit larger in size which helps to make it all come together in a very rich and creamy way.

Cherry Berry Bonanza, 4 oz (Buy a pack of 2 for $10.99/Member Price $5.99)

This trail mix is filled with cherries, blueberries, and cranberries. Each bite will give you hints of sweetness and tartness, which is what I love about each of these berries. Dried fruit is such a great snack to have on the go and will often curb my sweet cravings since each berry is naturally sweet and tart. The best part is that my son and I can share this lovely snack. All I have to do is toss this resealable bag in my diaper bag and we can have a healthy snack at the park!

Whole Wheat Vanilla Animal Cookies, 5 oz (Buy a pack of 2 for $6.49/Member Price $5.99)

These are vegan and a great source of fiber since they are whole wheat. All things that make me excited to share these with my son! The cookie itself tastes very similar to an animal cracker and is just as sweet. You get the hints of vanilla that make each bite so creamy and delicious. Like animal crackers, these crumble in your mouth and really make the perfect sweet treat. Plus, I love going through each animal, they are so cute!

Sweet Blueberry Almonds, 4 oz (Buy a pack of 2 for $10.99/Member Price $7.99)

This bag is filled with an elevated version of roasted almonds. It looks like they are coated with some powdered sugar, but they are covered in blueberry powder that is made from all natural fruit extracts. The blueberry flavoring is sweet with a little tart. Mixed with the crunch of the almonds, you have the perfect snack that would curb any sweet cravings.

Verdict: Providing healthy snacks for myself and my family is always a tricky task. What I love most about NatureBox is that you know you are getting snacks that are made with healthy ingredients, but you also know that you are going to love them! Each snack is always so unique or a new take on something old like the vanilla animal cookies from this month. NatureBox allows me to have a sweet snack without the guilt because I know they are made from all natural ingredients.

I received 9 snacks this month, which at the $50 membership fee, is really a steal since all of these products would be very costly if you bought them at the grocery store. Plus, each snack bag that you receive is usually a larger size so they last you forever! Having snacks that I can enjoy on the go is always a huge must for me, and NatureBox always comes through with the best options!

I have one of the “old” subscriptions, but have cut it from monthly to every other month. The reason for that is they don’t seem to be adding much in the way of new items, except for extra-cost premium items, and have discontinued a number of items I previously enjoyed. In addition, items that I have in my pantry are often out of stock when my box is due to be shipped. In fact, if I hadn’t been able to go to an every other month subscription, I would have canceled completely. I love the items I do choose, when they are available, but I’m not sure if the value is still there for me. I may look into other natural/healthy snack box subscriptions.

Thanks for the post! I haven’t been receiving this box for that long so still find that I am receiving a variety of products. Maybe keep an eye out if there are any snacks here or boxes that catch your eye!
