Each box comes with an information card highlighting the brand of each product and a small description. The best part about this card is that it is very personalized with quotes from Jennie on why she selected each item for the month’s box, which really adds to the unique curation that you will soon discover in this box! Plus, this month’s box has a back to school theme for fall!

Bumble Energy Bar, 1.4 oz. – Value $1.58 (Buy a box of 12 for $18.99)

Bumble is an eco-conscious, woman-owned and operated business based out of Spokane, WA. I love learning about new brands like this! I received the sesame bar which is gluten and dairy free and packed full of protein and fiber. The bar itself was delicious with a sweetness from the peanut butter and chocolate that bound everything together. A number of nuts and seeds was a bit overpowering when you got to the end, but overall I really enjoyed this little snack! It made the perfect late afternoon snack that gave me an energy boost for the rest of the day!

Botanical Face Steam by Herbal Moon Apothecary – Value $13.00

A facial steam that I can do at home? Count me in! This reusable holder comes from Puyallup, WA from a family-owned and woman-run business! When you first open your bottle of herbs you are hit with a wonderful floral and fruity smell that reminded me of a delicious tea. This particular blend is filled with neem, witch hazel, and rose petals. All you have to do is fill a glass or bowl with one tablespoon of the herbs and then pour boiling water over it. Let your face take in all of the wonderful steam to help clarify and brighten. I have already used this blend twice this week and I can tell that my skin looks brighter with each use. Plus, there is something extremely relaxing about standing over the steam for 5 minutes while breathing in this wonderful natural herbal blend.

Sodalite Stone Necklace by Dune Jewelry – Value $54.00

If you received the Summer box, you will this box right away as being another wonderful piece from Dune Jewelry! I love necklaces and was so excited to receive this delicate beauty! The center stone is made with crushed sodalite, a powerful stone known for its healing qualities while encouraging logic, knowledge, and love. So not only is this necklace fashionable that you can wear on its own or layered with other pieces, you can also use it as the seasons change to take in all of its healing powers. Such a beautiful gift to receive this month!

Handmade Engraved Pencils by Small Glow, Set of 6 – Value $10.00

Small Glow is located in Topanga, CA and is a family-owned, woman-run business! Another great brand to support! I received a set of six pencils, which is perfect given the back to school theme of the box. Each set can be engraved with any motivational saying, mine came with ‘You can do it!’ While I am not a huge pencil user, I love learning about new brands like this and seeing their products. I will absolutely be giving these to my friend’s kids that are school-age!

Handmade Notepad by VL Hamlin Design – Value $12.00 (medium size)

Being a busy Mom, I am constantly making notes, grocery lists, or even writing a little ‘have a great day’ reminder note for my husband. So having extra paper around is a must in my house! I love that this is a to-do-list with a box to mark off what I have completed. Even though I can use my phone for things like this now, I absolutely love and need to write things down on paper which makes this little item extra special to me in a world of iPhone notes! Plus this notepad comes from a small, woman-owned business in Rochester, VT!

Popdots Go Pouch by Milkdot – Value $20.00

I can never have too many bags! This little pouch is the perfect size to fill with snacks for a run to the park, as an extra carrier to put in my diaper bag, or even if I just need something small to hold a few things on a walk with my son to throw in his stroller. I love the bold print on this pouch and that Milkdot is another women-owned business with a mission to make products with safe, non-toxic materials. Plus, the materials look like it will clean easily in case of any spills when using.

Luxury Super Scarf – Value $25.00?

There isn’t a brand listed for this scarf on the information card so I am guessing the value based on similar styles I have seen. I absolutely love the color that I received, it will match with a lot of styles I have this fall. This scarf is 100% rayon and the card notes that it is handmade by traditionally skilled artisans. It is an oversize length so you can wear it so many ways, I love pairing scarfs with my leather jacket. When my Mom saw this scarf out at my house, she asked if she could have it, but I loved it so much I think I will be keeping this one for myself!

Verdict: Another amazing box curated for moms by Jennie Garth in the MomGiftBox! I loved the first box that I received so much that I thought it would be really hard to top, I was wrong! This box had a wonderful Fall theme and was filled with larger size items at a higher value. I received seven items which breaks down to $7.14 per item to meet the $49.99 bi-monthly cost. After calculating each item I received $135.58 in products this month. What a deal! Each item is so thoughtfully selected and is either something I would use almost daily or something that I know I can gift to a friend that would love it! Even though this wasn’t noted, I noticed a trend that each product came from a small woman-owned and operated company. It is so important to support small businesses and I love that these are each woman-owned! Will it be possible for me to love my next MomGiftBox even more than my first two? We will have to wait and see!

  1. I love the necklace and Dune Jewelry has so many pretty pieces. I like the citation of this box. Thanks for reviewing

    • I agree, Dune Jewelry is super cute and I love their overall concept. Thanks for the post!

  2. I might actually buy this with the coupon. It’s useful and useable. Not my favorite, but for $27.50….

  3. Nah. I dont like anything from this box. Great that they offer a coupon, but no thanks

    • I was expecting something more exciting. Pencils and a notepad? 9021-NO!

    • Thanks for your post! Check back next month to see if there is anything from that new box that you might like!

    • I agree, seems like the writer is being super biased towards the box. Anyone can get that single colored scarf, rayan is common and not an eco-friendly textile.

      • Thanks so much for the feedback! I always try to post an honest and accurate review based on what I thought of the products. Overall, I didn’t love it as much as the first one, but I did really enjoy this box.

  4. How long is the necklace? And is the pendant removable from the necklace? Thank you! 🙂

    • I wasn’t able to get the pendant over the clasp, so I would say it probably can’t come off without damaging. The chain is almost 6 inches. Thanks for your post!

  5. Is this box still available?

    • I just looked and it seems like you still can purchase it!
