The typical delivery will have 2-3 items that stay around the same total value. Each item is a mystery without any type of theme.

This month’s package included two treats and a medium size duck plush toy.

It comes with a little insert card – but no item detail is displayed.

Plush Duck Toy – Retail Value $12 ($5 on Chewy.com)

This month’s toy is a plush duck with a little duck-like squeaker. It’s a bit large for Buckles – but will be suitable for dogs small/medium and up.

Buckles says – enough with this duck, on to the treats! The duck went to Penelope!

Health Bone Thins – Value $4

This month’s bag of treats contains tiny little “thins” to help and train your pup.

We got the pork/liver formula. They’re very teenie and were perfect for our dog.

As expected – these were Buckles’ favorite treats in the bag – I’m using these to give little treats to him for being good and/or cute through the day.

Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations – Value $1.35 based on other single treats in their store

The final item was a single beer-shaped goodie.

This is called the ‘three cheese pleaser’ and included 3 types of real cheese: cheddar, colby, and jack cheese.

These were really tough to break apart to portion control. But, once that was done, Buckles enjoyed his three-cheese treat.

Verdict: This month’s values only come to around the cost of the box – maybe slightly over with shipping if you’re buying online. That being said, all past shipments have been over the cost of the box – so I’m not too worried about this becoming the new trend. Value aside, our dog loves getting new stuff to try all the time, and this is probably the best low-price option to get a few treats and/or toys for your pup every month.

  1. I guess if you’re giving him treats for being cute, that would be all day long! 😉

  2. My duck was ripped and the squeaker didn’t work. It also looked like someone tried to sew it together like a 5 year old. I emailed them and they did say they would send me another toy that was also size appropriate. I also hope this isn’t a new trend this was one of my favorite things to give my babies a little monthly treat.

  3. My Bam Bam is 1/2 the size of that duck and he loves it!!! He tries to carry it but he can barely and he can’t jump up anywhere when it is in his mouth but that doesn’t stop him from trying.

I didn’t think the cookie would go over big but I was wrong, he loved it. The snacks were a no brainer. I am sooo pleased with this sub!! Bamy is spoiled and picky and yet nothing we have received so far, has bombed. His favorite is his new baby, the purple octopus from last month. That has to go to bed with us.

  4. Buckles is like, no ducking way! Such a cute photo.
