I thought this was a great box. The eye palette has already been put into service a few morning. Nice color including the deep blue and pink which are nice accent colors.

The lipstick is great. I swatched on my arm and it was still there two days later 🙂 as I didn’t scrub it off when I took a shower. It’s dry when it dries but with some gloss it works and the staying power is incredible. Glad to be introduced to the brand and also the color was not one I would ever have tried but I actually got compliments. Point of a subscription is to enable one to step out of the comfort zone.

It’s hard for me to really judge primers. This one seems to work fine.

I don’t really need a black eye liner as I don’t use it but I make regular donations to a shelter for abused women where the items are distributed to the women rather than sold so I am always happy to have items to put in the cosmetic bags I fill for them and drop off when there are enough items in there to be a pleasant surprise for some poor soul.

This was a great box for me. I would never have tried a lipstick that shade because it seemed very bright pink but once I got used to it, I really liked it. It’s very matte so wears a long time. I was happy to sample this type of texture.

The eye shadow palette is really nice and I immediately put it to use for subtle day look. I have Urbsn Decsy smokey and 3 palettes and this is different. I am always happy to have additional lighter shades because I tend to use them up more quickly.

There was also a single eyeshadow from Nomade which is an absolutely gorgeous hesviloy pigmented bronze gold. Even worked for day as a thin smudged line so the sparkle just lit up my eye instead of being too sparkling although I swatched it as an eye shadow and it’s incredibly rich if you want a dazzle type of color.

I’m always happy to get another primer. I haven’t tried it yet but it’s well reviewed even though it’s a smaller boutique type of brand.

All in all I think the value for me with just the eyeshadows and lipstick made it well worth it. And if the primer comes through, that saves me about $30 when it comes to replacing the one I bought last month.

So far I’m impressed and looking forward to the next box.

This box definitely reminds me of Boxycharm. I’m not sure why the negative comments but I’m at my limit for the rest of the year at this point. I think I’m going to watch this one over the next few months and see how the reviews & spoilers look. After the first of the year I plan to reevaluate my subs and decide what to keep /change /and try new ones that are interesting me at the time. I’m pretty sure I’ll be overrun with stuff by then lol 😂

Also, I have prior experience with this particular subscription, so I know that they send expired skincare products and have regular delays.

Well, okay. I never heard of that primer brand, and I have a lot of primers anyway, so I can’t say that yet another primer of totally unknown quality is a desirable item for me. The palette looks ugly in the photo (I would like the Urban Decay Afterdark palette instead, just waiting for the price to go down a bit more), and the lipstick is yet another nude (I can’t do nudes with my skin tone). And I have more than one Beauty for Real black eyeliner already thanks to other subscriptions.

That is why the box is completely unappealing to me.

I got that primer in a Glossybox sometime last year, and it was fine. It did the job, but nothing spectacular. I’d be happy to get another one in a sub, but I’d never seek it out to buy it.

Eyeshadow palette, good eyeliner, primer and a lippie shade I don’t have…this is my idea of a dream box.

I love that palette

These spoilers look good to me! Much better than last month’s brown lipstick and bright orange blush.

The palette looks pretty, but I wonder about the quality & what the colours look like in real life/light.

Wow like Boxycharm. Can you cancel anytime?

October spoilers in almost the middle of October? 🙂
And based on the products, looks like I left this sinking ship just in time.

I’ve received three of the four products in past ipsy/Lip Monthly bags. Agree that this sub has arrived on the scene too late.

I have to agree. While still good products and value, the uniqueness that I used to love about this box is gone. 🙁
