When you open this month's box you are greeted by all of the villains from Disney character history! I love all things Disney so I was very excited to see what items were going to be featured that depict some of my favorite villains. Let's take a look inside!
Disney Villain Magnet - Value $4.56? (Price based on similar product)
I am a huge Disney fan if I haven't said that already! These villain's, while not the nicest ladies, bring back so many memories of my childhood. They were the first characters that I was really afraid of, but what I love about them is that their stories are captured so perfectly. Now that I am an adult I realize they are not that scary! This little magnet is the perfect glimpse into the ladies we loved to be afraid of!
Disney Villain 4 x 6 Art Print - Value $4.00? (Price based on similar product)
This print is absolutely stunning! I love the watercolor style painting and that each character's face is not completed. We have a lot of Disney character artwork in my son's room, and I think this is another piece that we will be adding to that collection. While I wasn't able to find this particular print on Etsy, you can really tell that this item is handmade and that so much love and detail was put into it!
Snow White Evil Queen Pin - Value $3.50? (Price based on similar product)
This pin was not listed on the information card, but I am excited that it was in the box! Snow White is my favorite Disney movie and one that I enjoyed so much as a child, it was my Grandma's first film that she ever saw in color so it holds a special place in my heart. I am glad this is a pin because I love collecting pins for my various jean jackets. This is going on one right away, and even though Snow White was my favorite, it is always good to show some love for the villain side of things!
Maleficent Keychain - Value $15.00? (Price based on similar product)
Maleficent was not a movie that I saw when it first came out, but when I finally saw it I loved it! This keychain with three charms shows just how evil that character can be. I love the dragon and black charm, another item that is a great piece to show my darker side.
Evil Queen Headband - Value $13.99
It looks like the Etsy shop that made this awesome headband no longer carries the evil queen print, but they have two of this style available. I am in love with this print! It not only highlights the evil queen but also looks very Halloween like. This style of headband was very popular in the 90's and I saw is making a comeback. Perfect timing to receive this awesome print!
Evil Queen Bracelet - Value $24.61? (Price based on similar product)
This bracelet is so much fun! There are so many charms on here that represent the evil queen from, you guessed it, Snow White. The mirror is my favorite charm and the red stone representing the red apple, so unique! While I don't often wear bracelets, this is absolutely one that I will be holding onto, especially since it is another Snow White piece.
Maleficent Necklace - Value $20.55? (Price based on similar product)
I cannot say enough good things about this necklace. At first, when I still saw it in the box I thought it looked a bit much. However, once you take this out and try it on it really is a unique piece. The charm itself is very thick and the chain is a nice quality so you know it won't break or tangle too easily. I love that it is such a bold black statement necklace. I know I am going to be rocking this necklace a lot!
Ursula Earrings - Value $16.11? (Price based on similar product)
These earrings really are a statement piece! If you love Ursula then these are for you, she really scared me when I was little so seeing these brought back all of those OMG why are you so mean feelings. The earrings themselves are beautifully made with so much detail. My Mom was over when I opened this box and she knew she had to have them. They are much more her style so I was happy to share them!
Verdict: This was my first time receiving Kal-Elle and I absolutely loved it! It didn't hurt that I am a huge Disney fan so the items were easy for me to relate to. Also, since I grew up watching most of these movies, the items brought back a lot of special memories. I received 8 items in this month's box which comes out to $2.84 per item given the overall cost being $22.75 (including the cost of shipping). While I wasn't able to find the exact items online to purchase that I received, I found many similar products that were way more than that per item so the overall value with this box is absolutely worth it! Not all of the items were my style, but I was able to pass some along to my Mom and a few things to my friend that is a fellow Disney lover. I always love a good theme and this one really hit home for me!
