I recently subscribed to Curlkit, received first box last month . In the future I would like to subscribe to Cocotique. For those that subscribe or have subscribed, which would you say is better or are they about the same with regards to products? Would love if MSA would review these again!

Hmm, I think this is the first spoiler we’ve had for a while for this box. If it’s a takeover box then it may be worth resubscribing to (at least for me)…although I have TONS of leave in conditioner the curling pudding may be worth a shot.

Nope just double checked the brand, my problem with Cocotique remains the same. They consistently market beauty supply store brands that don’t equate to the total cost that you spend on the box. I want my subs to expose me to brands I wouldn’t readily purchase on my own that will have a formula that will cause me forget about Camille Rose or certain devacurl products.

Onyxbox is a little better in terms of giving exposure to new things. They recently had a lip powder in one of their boxes, which I’ve never seen before. Their boxes are usually interesting.

Have you tried Curl Box? While they sometimes include brands that can be found in beauty supply stores, they’re really good at including brand new launches from those product lines.

Dear Cocotique,
If you think you’re going to try to torture me for cancelling my subscription (I have way too many beauty products, which is why I had to temporarily cancel, although I’m still getting the October box as my last box) by showing me what’s in the first box I will miss out on (which will be the November box), think again!!!! I’m already sad I cancelled, but I already have too many products (and way too little room to store it all). 😂😩😜
