On the topic of advent calendars – has anyone in the US ordered the Liberty calendar, or Harrods? It seems super complicated and can’t determine if it’s my inexperience shipping through 3rd parties… or I’m not reading the right articles/sources.. Tips???
Asking for a friend.. =P

They’re not available yet. I’m considering the Harrod’s but while the contents are great I’m not sure it’s going to be worth the extra $60-75 for shipping to the US.

$75 is the right price for me.

Wow, there’s a lot of their most popular beauty products in their calendar. I love their Joli Rouge lipstick. It’s well worth 29.00. Lots of great beauty items.

Liz, I’m really waiting for the Jo Malone & Diptique advents! I’m having trouble finding info on when and where they will be released. If anyone has info on either of those brands please let me know! Thanks! Btw, I bought the Clarins one last year and loved it, but holding out for the others and they are pricey!!
Thanks for your help everyone!! Just ordered the Jo Malone advent! Needless to say I won’t be eating for a month! Lol
Luna
I would call a Jo Malone store directly and have them reserve one for you as they tend to sell out very quickly (I hear).
For Diptyque, I’m almost positive some Nordstroms sell the Diptyque calendar too.

Thanks Luna! I was thinking the same thing. The Beverly Hills store is great and close by, I will do that!

The Diptique is on the Shopridge site as “coming back soon” and shows 300 pounds (I think).
Theres a great article by Cosmo about 2017 advent calendars. In there it says,”Jo Malone has gone to town this Christmas (and not only in its uber pretty Georgian townhouse design) – this decadent collection contains both mini perfumes and scented body creams. So if you’re a perfume fanatic and can’t decide on one to put on your Christmas wish list, this is perfect.
Exclusive to Harrods from October, available nationwide from November 2017″
There are several other interesting beauty advents highlighted in the article.
Looks like you’re a bit early for both.

Diptique is available on their website…its $390 so unfortunately I will not be getting this one

Darn… and this was one I was really looking forward to this year… too bad 1/4 of the calendar is non-beauty items. Hopefully I’ll like next year’s calendar better.

Hi Luna, do you know anything about LookFantastic with collaboration with omorovicza? Also, is there advent calendar for ВeautyExpert?

Luna
No, I haven’t heard of that collaboration, but it sounds like a good one! Do you think it could be an LE box like how they had one with Caudalie a while ago? I’d buy it! 🙂
So far, I’ve never seen Beauty Expert do an advent calendar, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they jumped on the bandwagon, if not this year, then within the next couple of years. Again, I’d buy it! 😀

Yes! It’s been my go-to skin care for decades. The gift tags kind of annoy me, though…three?! Does that bug other people? With Rituals, Look Fantastic, The Body Shop, Clarins, and a few others that I can’t even remember that I’ve put in the holiday hiding place, the holidays are going to be fun, but I need to stop NOW. Liberty is one of my favorite shops in London and I wear Charlotte Tilbury’s complete “looks” often, but I just can’t afford all of these. Liz, do you have a program to help with box addictions? Asking for a friend.

Yes the gift tags and the key chains, unnecessary, it’s supposed to be a beauty advent calendar

By the way, only the Rituals has arrived. The Look Fantastic is supposedly on the way, but I haven’t received it yet. The others, still haven’t shipped yet.

tempting, but $125 is little bit too much.
BTW there is Mankind Christmas Collection GQ edition, and Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar.

What do you think is the best advent calendar so far this year? So far from what I can tell the Look Fantastic is the one with the most full size items? I have never bought one and I am still looking for one that is just to good to pass up.

Totally agree with you. With all these calendars, I only bought LF for $98 with coupon. It has full size items, and very good variety of high end product. Also, there is a good mix of make up and skin care. Rest of the calendars are too expensive or have tiny samples, or geared into one line of product (lips, skin care, or bath, etc.)
