Beauteque BB Box October 2017 info back

Beauteque BB Box includes a little card that provides you a link and QR code to view your product details online. However, it doesn’t seem that information on October’s box is on their portal yet.

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 Item 1 - headband

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 Item 1 - headband

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 Item 1 - headband

Cat Ear Headband – Retail Value $5?

I couldn’t find this item on their website so I had to estimate the value. This headband is made with a super soft cloth and has cat ears on the top. I would say the design is really cute – but it may not be for everyone. The back is stretchable and it did a good job of holding my hair without squeezing my head.

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 Item 2 Innisfree powder

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder – Retail Value $9.50

I love Innisfree products! And I’m very familiar with this versatile powder as it was a staple of my routine when I lived in Asia. This powder is finely milled, provides a matte finish, and has a light citrus-y scent. You can use this powder throughout the day to touch up your face, mattify your lipstick, or even use it as a dry shampoo on your hair. I’m glad I received it in a box.

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 Item 3 - Nose pack

LookAtMe Nose Pore Strips – Charcoal – Retail Value $1.20 (Buy 5 for $5.99)

If you are unfamiliar with these pore strips, you wet the area around your nose thoroughly, then apply the strip and wait for 10-15 minutes until it dries, then peel it off. It should remove all the blackheads around your nose area. This strip does just that! My nose appeared to be much smoother and my pores are less visible. I wish there was more than one strip per box though!

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 Item 4 Mizon calming cream

Mizon Vita Lemon Calming Cream – Retail Value $23

Good to know for swaps – this item has an inner foil seal.

This moisturizer is infused with skin-soothing ingredients like castor oil, witch hazel extract, and hyaluronic acid. It came with a tiny spatula which you can use to scoop the cream instead of using your finger. The best part is that this lightweight gel absorbed almost instantly into my skin and left it plumped and balanced. The light lemon scent is pleasant as well. The big plus? You can also use this cream as a sleeping pack!

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 Bobmiki Blusher

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 Bobmiki Blusher

Bobmiki Aura Pang Pang Blusher – Pure Coral – Retail Value $12.99

This item is a big miss for me. The color didn’t show up on my face or even when I tried to swatch it on my arm. I think your skin has to be really light for this blush to show up.

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 - Sheet Mask

Beauteque BB Box October 2017 - back of sheet mask

Elimina Boobkiss 365 Beauty- Aid Beta- Bio Gel Mask Pack – Retail Value $5.99

This item is really unique! It’s basically a firming mask for your chest. It’s said to remove the films from both sides, apply the pack for 30-40 minutes, then tap your skin so that it absorbs the remaining essence. I understand the idea, but the mask kept slipping off throughout the process, and I didn’t notice any difference within one use. I don’t think the size of the mask would fit everyone too. This item is another miss for me.

Verdict: The total value of this box is $57.68, which is more than twice what you pay for it, but not as much as their promised value. This month’s box felt a bit off for me because I usually like everything they send. Overall, it’s still a great box if you enjoy Korean beauty products. I am looking forward to next month’s box after I saw the spoiler!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Place your order by the 15th of each month to get that month’s box.

  • LookAtMe Nose Pore Strips: $0.58
  • Mizon Vita Lemon Calming Cream: $11.15

Jira discovered the world of subscription boxes when she first moved to New York in 2017 (subscription box is not a thing in her home country!). Thanks to MSA, she’s now subscribed to almost 10 beauty and lifestyle boxes, with FabFitFun, BeautyFIX, and Clean Beauty Box as her favorites. Ps. Her boyfriend thinks that she’s only subscribed to Ipsy, so please keep this a secret between us 😉

  1. Did anyone else notice that they stopped including the makeup bags in the boxes? My last three boxes haven’t had any makeup bags, which is a bummer because I actually was really looking forward for getting them. 🙁

  2. Wow, I don’t think that blush would even show up on me and I am like the palest foundation shade.

I do like that Innisfree powder.
