Clearly, i am not the target demographic for this box either… i actually laughed out loud when i saw how much this costs. IF i had that kind of money to blow i still wouldnt buy those 2 rocks 😂 . But more power to ya if this is your style.

I’m confused. Chances are you have a working fireplace if your spending 2kplus on a subscription box. I’m going to assume it’s not supposed to be used in conjunction with actual fire.

Really??? If I wanted these types of items, and I don’t, I would buy them from a reputable store that allows returns “if not completely satisfied”. Anyone who can afford these things certainly doesn’t need to try and get a bargain. I am so leary of anything that seems to good to be true i.e. $500 off.

I know this is a site for subscription boxes and I suppose that’s what this is but still this box seems terribly out of place here. I suppose if I had gobs of money to blow I might enjoy it, but if I had that much money would I care about the $1000 bang for my buck? And wouldn’t you rather spend that amount of money on the exact things you want in the exact style/color?

I’m confused. Is this for both the Fireplace Insert and Votive? Usually 5th Avenue lets you pick one spoiler. In this case does the person get both? Will there be other items in the box since both these items are over the RV?

You just have to choose the Votive that you like: Clear Quartz, Clear/Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Amethyst/Citrine or Pyrite/Clear Quartz.

What I don’t personally grasp beyond spending this amount, is spending this amount on THESE items. This box is a plane ticket to Europe. This box is a spa weekend at the Hershey Resort where you can soak in chocolate. This box is a Superbowl ticket. Oh wait, it’s not. This box is a frickin’ white rock and its rock Tribble sister. Apparently selenite doesn’t work, because it’s making me more confused, not less.

It’s all subjective. Some people (not me) think that money spent on travel is wasted, because you don’t have anything to show for it afterwards. Some would happily spend $1000 on a piece of jewelry or $200 on an anniversary meal at a fancy restaruant, or $10 a month on a Birchbox subscription, while others might consider each those things a waste of money. We all have our values and priorities. This piece isn’t for me (and thank goodness, because I can’t afford it anyway!) but I can appreciate the value of a handmade gemstone sculpture, and the craftsmanship that goes into it.

I, personally, would scratch my head much more at someone spending this amount of money on a Super Bowl ticket or chocolate (?) soak than a subjectively beautiful piece of home decor that could last forever and maybe even be passed on through generations. (Seriously? A thousand bucks to watch a bunch of men throw a ball around when you can watch it -or not! – on tv?)

Haha, too funny. I agree completely. This is what I consider “fake” luxe: putting items that very few people have heard of into boxes and slapping inflated price tags on them to make you think you’re getting a deal. Really, all this is is overpriced paperweights. For this much money, a box could really do it right and basically give a subscriber enough items to decorate a room. Say, some high quality bedsheets, lamps, cashmere or silk accents, some high end kitchen accessories, etc…not this dust collecting rock.

I’m still waiting for my Autumn Limited Edition box that I ordered last summer. It’s ok that there’s a delay, but it’s not ok that there’s been no communication or updates as to what going on. I’ve emailed and called without any response. I’m not sure I’d buy another mystery box again from 5th Avenue.
