Now, on to the items!
Satellite Soap Co French Green Clay Mask – Value $15
The ingredients for this mask are as simple as it gets: just french green clay!
You mix it with water, then apply to your face for about 15 minutes. I always like getting powder masks like this because they have a long shelf life, and they are great for travel (no liquids), too!
I found this one to be gentle, and it left my skin feeling smooth and clear. (I also like how the clay really has no discernable scent.)
The one downside to this product is that I can’t find anything about the company that makes it online. The website that Terra Bella Box lists on the card doesn’t work, and my google attempts have failed as well.
Ocean Elemental Bath Soak – Value $8.95
OK, this is another website doesn’t exist/doesn’t have a presence on the internet company. I have no issue with new brands launching in subscription boxes, or subscription boxes creating their own brands just for a box, but it’s weird that Terra Bella Box lists websites don’t currently exist.
But, let’s get to the product itself! This soak is a fantastic blend of Epsom Salt, Himalayan Salt, and flowers and essential oils. I thought the lavender scent would be stronger, but the blend really just has an herbal scent to me. (And the bag should last for 2-4 uses.)
Ocean Elemental Exfoliating Glove – Retail Value $3.95
To be honest, I can’t tell a difference between this glove and the kind you can get at the Dollar Tree. That being said, I love these kind of gloves! (And I love how cheap they are!)
The texture isn’t scratchy at all, but it’s enough to help gently exfoliate your skin.
Ad Astra Apothecary Lavender Essential Oil Roller – Retail Value $15
Have you noticed a theme of none of these brands having functioning websites? (I’m going to reach out to Terra Bella Box and ask about it.)
Love the formula of this rollerball, though. It’s just dried lavender flowers, organic lavender essential oil, vetiver essential oil, and coconut oil. Perfect for de-stressing or getting ready to sleep.
Stonework Studio Rio De Janeiro Hair Perfume – Value $19.95
I don’t see hair perfume often in subscription boxes, so this was a nice surprise. (And I love that this one is made from essential oils.) The scent is a blend of pineapple, passion fruit, mango, lime, patchouli, and grapefruit. I love the tropical fruit vibe, but I would have preferred a patchouli-free version and just gone all out with a pina colada scent!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $62.85. That’s pretty good for a $32.95 natural beauty box that works with smaller brands and etsy makers. I had no stand out products that I absolutely loved this month, but everything was good.
