I just got suckered back in after I cancelled. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the box has!

Yay!! I’m so excited. When I first heard 2 beauty products I was like ugh… this isn’t a beauty box. But of all my spoilers this month in the bueaty department these are the best!

They are better than birch box (blah), glossybox, boxy charm, and even my beloved ipsy!

Jen

I usually am not a fan of these boxes, but I’m loving the spoilers! I subscribed for the month because I know I will use these two beauty products! Wooohooo!

Samantha

Enough with the random beauty products! I do not like these at all. I wear no makeup so this is a total waste. Not sure how much longer I’ll keep subscribing to this box.

JL

I can’t wait to try both of the products. Not something I would normally buy, but will definitely use!

Can the primer be used if you don’t wear makeup? Does it make the skin look smoother? Such a bummer to get two makeup items in one box :(. And Sept is my bday month, so I was hoping for something awesome.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

Mary Beth, Absolutely you can use the primer all by itself without foundation. Hope this helps! Kristin

I don’t think I’ve ever seen PS release two beauty spoilers, but they both look interesting and different so I have no complaints. I’m so intrigued by the Lipstick Queen blush. Can’t wait to see the rest of the box.

i don’t use makeup. looking like this will be the third ps box in a row that i will want to swap completely 🙁

Crap, I hope I’m not allergic to this mineral stuff like I am to all other mineral items.

Renee

2 beauty items…ugh. hoping there’s something on the way that I will LOVE.

Jenn

Love the spoilers…..I suspect I will resub! Thanks!

I don’t like a company that doesn’t list it’s products ingredients on their website. The primer only lists it’s ACTIVE ingredients, but what about the rest…?

FAIL.

After a quick Google search, I found the ingredients on another website.

Active ingredients:
– Vitamin B5 from pro-collagen Panthenol
– Sodium Salicylate promotes healthy skin renewal

Ingredients:
Aqua (Water), Alcohol Denat, Mica, Phenoxyethanol, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Panthenol, Salicylic Acid, Parfum, Magnesium Sulfate, CI 77891, CI 77491

2 make up items, no thanks. If I wanted a makeup box I would get boxy charm or some other make box.

Jayne

The swatch looks like it would add color to my skin (I’m pretty pale) so not sure that would work for me.

Does seem odd to have 2 makeup items in this box.

Fun spoilers but nothing is “must have” for me. I’ll wait and see what the rest of the box brings to see if it’s worth it. Just finished my black Friday deal and have some big expenses coming up.

Reply ButtonReply

Ellen

What black friday deals are you getting? I haven’t started yet but feel like it won’t take long before my wallet empties again

Reply ButtonReply

May

I had the black friday deal from last year though August around $20 a month … time to start saving for this years deal 🙂 I should have just done a whole year instead of nine months.

Rasha

I would like to know this, too! Thanks Liz! 🙂

c.c.

I’m concerned since these makeup products are so light and I have a darker skin tone this entire box is going to be a waste for me.

robyn

I’m on the other end of the spectrum – I’m so pale I’m almost translucent – and I’m concerned as well. I don’t like swapping used cosmetics (even just swatched), and I’m too afraid to see what the color change will be on me. A $25 product isn’t worth that big of a “maybe” for me as little makeup as I wear anyway. I’m also not sure about that primer on lighter-than-porcelain skin. Not to mention that since I entered my early 40s shimmer becomes harder and harder for me to pull off… I sub to PSMH because I don’t want makeup / skincare only, and now the first two spoilers are cosmetics. Really annoys me to have their box already shipped and on its way, and also know I’ll be paying shipping fees to swap them out.

Amber

While I may not use the primer, or any of the other items that might be in this box, I know I’ll always find someone in my life who it will be perfect for. I did a few swaps, but I found I always ended up sending things out to people who really wanted them, but never really got anything I wanted in return (mainly because I just don’t want anything, I’m weird). While that’s ok, I’d rather save my postage and give the items to people I know.

Jessica

Like this in theory, but not sure whether it will work for my skin type. (I typically go for a mattifying primer.) I hope Liz’s full review, or anyone else who tries it out, will report back on how this compares to other well-known primers, whether it extends the wear time of makeup, etc.

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

Both spoilers are beauty items? That’s a little weird. Huh.

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Well, not for me…..will probably ride it out until black friday deals……hopefully it will be as good as last year. I don’t want or need any makeup/skincare right now.

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

They got me again! I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve cancelled and then resubbed!

Reply ButtonReply

Airian

Love the spoilers so far 😊 Last year’s September box was one of my favorites as well. Can’t wait to see what else is in the box! 💗

Reply ButtonReply

Lainey

@liz, the swatch on your wrist looks like a highlighter and I’m worried that it will be overpowering when on a full face (don’t really want a light bulb face!) – can you let us know if it looks natural when it’s applied all over on the face?

Reply ButtonReply

Rasha

I would like to know this, too! Thanks Liz! 🙂 (Oops I forgot to “reply” to this comment earlier)

Mich

Me too!

Cornflake

Perfect! I was needing a full sized primer!

I love these spoilers! I can’t wait to see what else we get! It seems that the fall/winter boxes have more intriguing items than spring/summer ones. I can’t wait to see what else we receive!
