The invoice has contact info if I have any questions on my box and shows me as a reoccurring order. It is a pretty standard invoice.

Sheer Leopard Print Scarf (retail price unavailable)

If you happened to see my first review of Pinup in a Pack, you may have seen it was a bit lukewarm. I liked the pieces I got, but I wasn’t wowed. This time is a different experience entirely.

I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to animal print; leopard, tiger, zebra--- you name it, I love it! So, as soon as I spied the scarf in this box I was delighted. The material for this scarf is a sheer nylon. The size and length of the scarf aren't ample enough to use as a head scarf on my big ol’ pumpkin head, but I was able to wear it as a neck scarf! I have said in past reviews that leopard print is a neutral—and I stand by it. You can mix it with other prints (like I did here with my striped shirt) easily for casual or dressy ensembles. This scarf is a timeless staple piece for any sassy queen!

Black Cat Eye Sunglasses (retail price unavailable, but found various similar pairs on Ebay with prices ranging between $5-$200+)

Speaking of classics, cat eye glasses are timeless. Cat eye glasses make me think of a number of starlets from Marilyn Monroe in How to Marry a Millionaire to Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s to Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger. There is something so chic yet unusual about cat eye glasses! This particular pair is less over-sized than some I own, but I find them still to be incredibly flattering. The glass frames are made from a lightweight plastic material with gold metal arms and nose bridge complete with comfortable adjustable padding. These will look sharp with all your fall ensembles. I foresee myself pairing them with my faux leather biker jacket and boots often this fall!

Rhinestone Retro Tear Drop Earrings (retail price unavailable. I found a similar dangling style on Ebay.)

I am a sucker for glitzy costume jewelry, so when I saw this pair of earrings I was over the moon! The earrings themself are slightly on the heavy side, but I will overlook that because I like really like the style. My ears didn’t itch for the duration I wore these, which is an added benefit. These earrings will add a touch of elegance to any ensemble and I am pleased they were included in this month’s box. They are the embodiment of glamorous pin up girl style.

Verdict: Talk about doing a one-eighty! This month’s box is an example of why I wanted to try this subscription out in the first place. Last month’s box wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t mind blowing either. I feel like September’s box was a vast improvement in quality and style. The cat eye glasses, sparkling earrings, and leopard scarf are great items alone, but when styled together make for an epic pinup Voltron! Unlike last month’s Pinup in a Pack, I feel like I got a really great value for $19.99, especially since the shipping is included in that price! I am really looking forward to seeing what the fall and winter/holiday accessory selections for the box will be!
